I have experienced Mayon Volcano’s eruption a number of times in the past. I remember, I was still living inside the Aquinas dormitory when it started spewing some ashes and letting out some magma. Eto yong Daragang Magayon Hall nang Aquinas.

Mayon Volcano Alert Level 3

In its 8Pm Bulletin on December 14, 2009, PHIVOLCS-DOST raised the alert status of Mayon Volcano from Alert Level 2 to Alert Level3. This means that magma is close to the crater and hazadous explosive eruption is imminent.
