We have a snowstorm at the moment. It’s actually just one of those regular snow showers. I guess, because we have not seen any major snowstorm in this area for years, everyone is excited to call them a blizzard. Duh! Yesterday, the forecast was one bloody hell of a delubyo. Waking up, it was snowing, very, very fine snow, and the forecast was 12 to 18 inches, they seem to have lowered it from last night’s 20 inches. And if you read the news, it sounded terrible. Like Independence Day on Christmas Day. We’re not even in Copenhagen.
“Winter wallop pounds the northeast” Haller! Where?! Not in my area I’m sure!
“and blanket areas to the north, including Philadelphia and New York City, later in the weekend.” Yeah! Yeah! Blanket? This much? It didn’t even reach bulinggit high to my tires!
I’ve never driven in snow for a very long time. And so… dahil matigas ang ulo ko hehehe… madami kasing na-a-aksidente sa snow. So, gora ang lola just to check out the neighborhood, see what everybody else is doing. The snow was supposed to be heavy now. I just have no more clue whatever happened to it. The 18 inches up until tomorrow, I suspect, it will just be 18 millimeters.
But snow is always fun. Reminds me back during my time in the Barrio where we have to gather this type of wood in the bundok as Chrismast Tree, then, shower it with Tide suds hahaha to create an illusion of snow. In the beginning, I had no clue what it was. As in, an sama pa nang lecheng amoy nang subo nang Tide, sisipunin ka.

hay 5 years na kaming nag-iintay dito. puro na lang forecast na balikwa. ang mga puti nga naman oo, pati comelec saten pinapakinggan. si garci kaya lumipat dito???

Hahaha! Snow din dito sa amin, walang tigil since last night and windy too (Alexandria, VA). I’m just staying inside, hopefully ok na bukas – I need some food;-), good thing I still got some beer;-). BTW thanks to all sa B7! 99.9% araw-araw din ako doon dati;-), maraming salamat.

hahaha! eh ang forecast kasi sabi mag-start friday nite and 12 inches saturday. leche pag-gizing ko wala. yun pala, late nyahahaha! 20 inches nga ata dito sa Philly, eto di pa kami tapos mag-pala. yong kotse ko di pa rin maka-alpas dahil ang mga demonyong tiga munisipyo ni indi man lang nag-plow sa area namen! ang mga halimaw na yun!
