Haha I'm an Aquinian din (haha super loyal from high school to college) kaloka always pag nagtutuga an mayon and pagnagbabaha. Experiences na di ko pagpapalit. I'm from the first district, so pagnagmega lahar di kami makadaan so kelangan kapitbisig and brave the raging lahar flow.. Hayyy! Thanks for this post. I remember, college ako noon at sa school ko eh maganda din ang view ng mayon. Tiyempo free time namin at nakaupo lang kami under the trees watching the volcano, nung biglang sumabog talaga siya.... oh my gulay nakita niyo na ba yung nag-mushroom yung ash and usok na ibinuga niya? Ganon yung napanood ko.... parang me pinasabog na nuclear weapon. You can't help but a utter a prayer na sana naman papunta lahat sa dagat ang lava. Pero totoo ka, its a once-in-a-lifetime experience kaya kung me chance ka, go and watch it. Even the bus travel going to Legazpi would be something lalo na kung nasa Camalig area na kayo at that point kung saan parang palapit na kayo ng palapit sa Mayon before the bus finally veers off to the right.... it is a sight to behold.
