Ferrer, the Second Division presiding officer, said he would stand by the division’s ruling.

having said that, i was expecting a candidate to react to the comelec and say “that’s not the essence of democracy”, gays are people, and the Catholic church does not have a monopoly of morality. that would have been rad!

so there….

i just want to point out that gay rights is one of those issues our candidates should take a stand on.

this is a perfect example of a situation where voters can benefit from seeing the candidates’ platforms.

am wondering what noynoy’s stand on this.
