Eklat in the Barrio

Eklat started off with a big bang in the barrio, racking up over a hundred comments with her 1st letter to B7 writers. She was introduced to the barrio by her agent, Mel Beckham.

First of all let me introduce myself, my name is Elaine Katherine Lourdes Anna Theresa , but my friends call me Eklat. That’s my initials by the way, in case you didn’t noticed. I am 22 years old, single but dating a son of a [put chain of supermarkets owner’s family name here]. My father is a rich businessman involved in beverages and my mother is a congresswoman. I graduated from a design school in New York with a degree in fashion merchandising. She discovered her yaya Indira was an avid reader in the barrio and out of curiousity she started reading Barrio Siete and her reaction?

My initial reaction upon reading your blog was OMFG! I was so horrified, shocked and appalled. I can’t believe that such blog existed. Your use of the English language is very unusual but NOT in a good way. It’s very sickening I wanna run to the bathroom and puke like the time I was bulimic. Not only did you murder the English language but also your use of Tagalog in your posts. You are making BALAHURA the Tagalog. You are also keen in using a very bizarre form of language that I only hear from badings and babaeng badings especially on local tv and in comedy bars. (Source: Barrio Siete)

She would be fried in the barrio and would disappear for a moment. Shocked of her life probably.

Things would change. Before long, she would become hooked on Barrio Siete.

I also donated much of my baby clothes from Dior and Chanel. It’s nice to see little kids in couture you know. Like Suri Cruise and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, these kids should start wearing couture when they’re still young. (Source: Barrio Siete)

Politically minded too… She’s up to date with Noynoy and Mar’s women and very well in touch with the volcanic eruption that Noynoy’s video created.

The torches used were very exquisite. Parang they came from the same rattan and bamboo that Kenneth Cobonpue used in his furnitures. So chic talaga. (The video) it was done beautifully by a group of talented volunteers to the extent that it was too emotionally convincing and a lot of people love it. what’s this chika I heard from the grapevine about people with laptops getting paid by some presidentiables to discredit Noynoy Aquino? Well, I think this is getting exciting. I wish they contacted me too because I know a few PR people that is less expensive but does a better job for their bosses. They do better wonders than Moses. (Source: Barrio Siete)
