I got out of the hospital then, after what was supposed to be just 2 weeks stay after a laparascopic surgery operation, that ended with an additional 2 weeks, because I was hard-headed. The doctor said to live my life normal, and so I hit the bars and started drinking. Bummer! That was not the normal that my doctor was talking about!
After I was released, out of boredom at home, I discovered blogging. That’s when I started hitting the keyboard. Several years has passed, so many keyboards have changed and I’m still typing.
When I started to blog, I was told that I can be who I wanted to be. And so I aspired not to be Miss Saigon but Reyna Elena. I believed that by creating this personality so not me, that I would be able to hide my true persona in reyna’s anonymity.
Well… not!
I hit the wall and soon I would realize that there is no anonymity in blogging. Stalking 101 and few twisted clicks, you’d know who the blogger is.
Connect the dots with employment and at work, I know that we do background investigation. Think about this for a minute – your name is on facebook, on twitter, on plurk, on linked-in on whatever internet platform and environment where you can write absolutely anything.
And this I believe is the reason why you, or all of us should start looking at our blogs as our resume.
