I was asked by Janette to join her Top Ten Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009. I decided to accept the assignment, for two reasons:

I believe in the idea of nurturing future Filipino bloggers. “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa nang bayan” or “Ang kabataan ang mga leche nang bayan“, basta, one of these is tama hahaha! Given all the name calling in Pinoy Blogosphere, I believe that it is not fair to these newcomers and newbies who are new into blogging by being bullied and intimidated by these self-proclaimed “influential bloggers” who have no credentials themselves and no known accomplishments behind all their MBA’s and their best school diplomas other than ramming themselves into us! It’s self-serving and yes! I’m pissed at them! I believe that as we become “somebody” in Pinoy Blogosphere (yes Filipino Boys, I am somebody! Hahaha) who command a following, we automatically have that certain level of responsibility to pass on the baton. Wag kayong ganid! Grr!

And because this hogwart continues to win beauty contests, I believe that I have certain responsibility, to recognize that some of my loyal readers will soon command a good following, and will soon be influential in their own rights, given the chance, and that I need to social climb with them, NOW NA! That I need to help them to be at that point, and not be an obstacle, at handa kong ibigay sa kanila ang korona ko. Haller! Kapalit kamo nang isang boylet! Not necessarily follow na pag winner ka sa award na to, eh pede nang isanla ang award mo ha? It doesn’t work that way. Of course, they have to work twice as hard to be influential, anyway. Besides, I am just passing by in Pinoy Blogosphere and I recognize the fact that some of my readers are actually better than me. If I don’t recognize them, who would? Maraming ganid sa Pinoy blogosphere with their own advocacy and drama, mga personal chorvalais pala ang mga balak nang mga leche. Korak?!
Having said that, arranged according to beauty! hahaha! charing lang! These bloggers I have on my list, have the potential to command respect and authority in Pinoy Blogosphere and would, sooner or later, be influential in their own rights. Look nyo naman! In less than a year, they are already starting to get noticed! Unless they start creating havoc, you now! Hahaha!
In random order, here are Reynz’s Top Ten Choices as the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009. Influential ha? Hindi sya Ten Blogs who will create havoc sa Pinoy Blogosphere. Iba yon. Kilala ko kung sino ang leader dun! Nanga-ngalmut! Hahaha!

Ang problema ko lang, baka pag influential na kayo, kayo naman ang bibira saken! If I know! Hmpt!

NGAK! well, i hope that doesn’t happen to these guys hahaha! who knows, maybe these guys will break the spell! besides, i actually have a completely different concept of “influential” and from my own point of view, this is just a recognition of the fact that based on their performance at the moment, they have all what it takes to be influential – thus as shown by their emergence.
now, if they would pick it up from there and put their blog and talent on a higher level to really up the challenge, then this votation (if indeed it is) is not really a true gauge of a blog’s influence. there’s a lot more factor involved in being influential.

reason why i say that is because, i like the fact na you are very, very grounded kahit na you have already achieved some level of success kahit nga na barrio siete ka rin and you know me, in love ako sa mga tiga-barrio who have stories to tell because i believe that’s a certain inspiration to some people out there divanetch?

Yes Reynz, I have to say thank you for finding my blog a potential influence. Most of my information is to bring alternative awareness and insights for future/existing OFW’s. They deserve to see the other side of the story to avoid future/additional miseries. Alam mo naman, kapag nag-abroad ka it’s already a misery to leave your families behind… I think they do not deserve a miserable lifestyle or experience in addition, while away from home.
Isa pang LECHENG INUTIL ang DOLE, they seem to be more interested in producing labor exports rather than a creating hometown workforce. And so to POEA and a number of our USELESS AROGANTE DIPLOMATS…
Why should families suffer? Why is our overseas citizen be under-served? Our taxes and funds from remittance by-products provides them a living, they owe us a fair and sound service… maraming ring mang-mang sa ating mga envoys.
Puro lang sila porma to be honest… lalo na sa dakong Middle East.

In addition to my pasasalamat, I found great respect in this blog and gained friends. Exchanging friendly banters with like-minded strangers has added to the positive nature of this blog.
The unique selling proposition of this blog:
1. Behind the ‘crude use’ of language (as some perceived) there is an intelligent message that underlies.
2. Commenters may have the slightest difference in outlook, but united with the rationality and moral views.
3. Author’s great impulse and reach to the readers.
4. A site that promotes good social skills.
Overall, we all share positive changes with things that affects us as tired yet hopeful individuals who exist in an eroding national system.
I just hope other bloggers would leave behind individual differences and simply support positive and transparent causes in the blogalandia… (not like that Ako Mismo thing, may pagka evil yun)
Anyway whoever wins the emerging influential award, we share the joy and support… iisang pinagtabasan lang tayo…
