Its sickening to see people talk and think like they’re the authority on the subject. I think its a stupid idea to label bloggers – blogging is just child’s play – these guys want to impose standards (and censorships) on blogging? They’re stupid.

It’s funny to see people who try in vain portraying themselves as experts on things like, blogging…

Then they start name calling, branding, and look down on other bloggers just because they don’t fit to their idea of what blogging is all about.

To tell you frankly, blogging is nothing. It’s just a hobby, its a journal, it can give a patay gutom some money to buy food, its not just for people who writes english well, and it’s not just for people who are associated with big names, politicians, marketers. In other words – blogging is just a means for individuals to express themselves online – for whatever purpose, noble or not – who cares? and who wants to classify them? who wants to censor them?

They Who try to impose their authority and judgments on bloggers are just plain – stupids…

I read his original entry. I don’t think the whole thing changed. I read his 2nd entry and It seemed to me that he’s defending yong pagkakamali nya and justifying it just because it was started by somebody else. That does not validate anything nor make the wrong right. It’s still the same. Therefore ang may I conclude ko is that : NONE. He should be knowleagable enough.

Once does not need to be called out nor be reminded that the term is offensive. It’s like calling someone “puta”, “hayop ka”, “siraulo”, “hampas lupa”. It’s demeaning. Period. It wasn’t just a slip of the tongue (or keyboard), it was meant.

By labeling the entry as “a helpful advise to marketers”, it was basically implying that companies should only give gifts to the elite group and not the unknown bloggers. Typical Filipino crab mentality. I believe everyone started out as “unknown bloggers” with some growing to become popular. The popular ones like him might just be afraid they’d be surpassed by these PGBs in the future.

Hay…sige na, got to fly somewhere umiinit talaga ang dugo ko sa topic na ito, ang dami kasing mga magagaling na nagle-label at nagmamarunong dito sa blogosphere na akala mo sila na yung pinakamagaling dito sa world wide web eh!

‘Overlooked’? What a lame excuse. As a responsible blogger, yang mga term na ganyan na nakakasakit eh dapat ini-screen mabuti.
