I like the word patay gutom. It puts people exactly where they should be, because no matter how hard your middle class sensibilities deny it, the only thing that matters is status. Without it, your political correctness and advanced education amount to nothing.

Re Carlos Ople’s apology and damage control: It’s sounds more like he’s rationalizing his blunder – doesn’t strike me as a sincere apology. Tama un isang naunang nagcomment. At may point si Cat. He may have deleted the offensive PG label, but the tenor of that post remains basically the same: elitist, holier-than-thou. I’m still relatively new at blogging, but it’s a good learning experience for me.

Re BrianB: what’s with him? What’s the story? Bat tila gusto nya yatang dumaan muna ang post mo bago mo ipublish ito? Talaga bang over-arching na ang influence nya sa blogosphere, at he’s so concerned about your writing lapses? Interesting guy.

I fear crossing his path. And for my minuscule collection of post. Ilagay ko lahat kaya sa tampipi – tutal barriotic din naman ako – para di mapakialaman? What do you think?
