Was there a double jeopardy?
When I thanked Manuel L. Quezon III with his apology, Cat told me that:
As i have told you, MLQ3 is one who would not hesitate to apologize when he knows he is wrong or if he thinks he has hurt some people’s sensibilities
Now, DJB and Bert is now telling me a morbidly different thing which Bert is now claiming that I was totally in the dark. Was Manuel L. Quezon III insincere with his apology to me and Donya Victorina? Do they (DJB and Bert) have inside information gotten somewhere, like private conversation or microblogging about the real intent?

He’s saying: “I’m sorry that you were offended by what I said. I still think what I said is true. But, had I known that Filipinos would find be overwhelmingly offended by Chip Tsao and by what I said, I should have respected other people’s opinions (kept my mouth shut). ”
Sabi nga ni Ca t: “…MLQ3 is one who would not hesitate to apologize when…he thinks he has hurt some people’s sensibilities”. Despite his maintaining his original opinion, still, it was an apology. And a sincere one at that.

Tinanggap mo ang apologies so period na, end of discussion. He never apologized for his views which happen to be poles apart from your catch of the article. Thank you for being honest on your, to borrow your words, “langaw with no high credentials” status. It’s high time you educate yourself, it’s never too late to go back to school. reynz, wag ka nang mag-isip ng insider insider information na yan.you got an apology and it was public.kung ako sayo,kunin mo na yung apology and tumakbo ka ng matulin. he’s not being sarcastic. he’s just saying that he still believes that it was satire but he recognizes the fact that YOU found it offensive and he also thinks you had a valid point for being offended. Still, he respects your opinion thatis why he apologized. Isipin mo na lang, he could have ignored your arguments and let the issue die out. But he didn’t.

I’ve known mlq3 for the last five years that i have been participating in his blog. he was tolerant to other people’s opinion no matter how different it may be from his.
it is these people who can not believe that manolo is going to apologize to reyna elena and donya victoriina who are iinsinuating that he really did not mean the apology but in fact it was one of subtle insult to those who they regarded as literry-challenged.
some of these people equate intelligence to good usage of literary language in their writing. Use of colloquial language for them is low class.
Thus, the avatar bert there insults the commenters because he thinks that being a commenter in FV makes his brain bigger. I thought it was just as big as a pea.
Imagine expecting RE to write in literary form because he’s managing hundreds of millions of funds a big agency. I do not see the logic. Pakialog ang utak ko para makuha ko ang relationship.

Kawawa naman si Chip Tsao. Wala lang ibang mapagalitan ang mga Lynch Mob matapos ang pagsabog at semplang ng Nicole Wala-Palang-Rape Case.

Eto namang si DJB kasi, nagpakitang gilas pa. Ang tahimik na ng mundo nung “kaibigan” nyang si MLQ3, binuksan pa kasi yung maluwang nyang bibig, naglabasan tuloy yung mga palakang kokak. Meron pa syang read between the lines as if naman the readers could not read between the lines without his help. Sya lang ang marunong mag read between the lines. Abogado pa naman dati. Buti na lang, lakake sya, dahil kung naging babae sya, tsismosa ang labas nya. At kung ako ang kaibigan nya, dahil hindi naman nakakatulong sa usapin ang pagbubunganga nya, ipapayo ko na lang sa kanya, “Shut the f**k up!” And Reyns, payong tyahin lang, kahit na “insincere” ang tingin mo sa apology ni MLQ3, does it matter? He owned up to his mistake by making a public apology. That’s #1. All the reading between the lines is unnecessary DJB noise.

Gusto ko na lang sana pabayaan ito, but for the record, when i apologize, i apologize. Just as when you accepted it, I knew you accepted it. Di naman siguro fair sa ating dalawa kung magiging praning tayo sa isa’t isa.
