Why am I bloody angry?!
I became very angry when my friend alerted me, to my shocked surprise, that she found my real name as a commenter written by the same person I know who is a homophobic. You know what’s interesting? There was no link. You know what’s even more interesting? The commenter was not even me. You know what’s shockingly and interestingly disgusting? Of all entries, Pat Mangubat’s BB Gandanghari entry?! Trying to sabotage me to create some wrong impression to the readers of Filipino Voices by impersonating me?!
Now, this was not the first time this jerk tried this trick. The first comment appeared on Ding Gagelonia’s post, that is to make it appear it was somebody else such that when the 2nd comment appeared on Pat Mangubat’s entry, it would look just like another reader. Sino ang lolokohin nang engot na to?! I’m not dumb! That I am his fan? That I subscribe to his homophobicness?!
You see the nationalist connection?! That’s the keyword
Homophobic blogger
No one in the Filipino blogging community can convince me that if you write and post a blog entry that you will NOT read the comments on the blog entry that you wrote and posted and not be skeptical. No one. I am 100% positively sure that the owner of that blog entry was aware of the comment and all other comments that goes on in that entry. Especially if the blogger is Patricio Mangubat. The blogger that I call a homophobic blogger. Why do I call him homophobic? This is the blog entry that will fully explain you why: A nightmarish experience with an elitist and homophobic blogger at Filipino Voices, but I will give you the background and the connection.

I am cautiously aware of the threat this blogger has issued to me but he is my suspect number 1. This is the blogger who will do everything and do all the tricks available there is to gain viewership and readership. Exactly as what he claimed here:
Huffington Post readership pales in comparison to Pat Mangubat
And if you care to analyze, his blog readership can put to shame not only all the major TV networks in the United States but also The Huffington Post with only 8.1 million readers a day. Why there is not a single comment left from one of the 8.4 million readers a day, don’t ask me.
Apologies from Nick of FV
Believe you me, I actually read Filipino Voices, even after that nasty incident with Pat Mangubat earlier. I’ve said this in the past, and I will say it again. That there are writers at FV that I follow and I respect. I actually want this blog to be successful. And as hard as it was to get an internet connection while travelling on a business, I promptly emailed Nick and requested to delete such comment that is trying to sabotage me. It appeased me that he promptly agreed to my to my request and apologized, however, he denied my request that the IP address of the commenter be sent to me. However, today, I just checked the entry and Nick put it back. Why he did it? I have no idea.
Setting the precedent
Although I have certain level of respect to Filipino Voices, it is disappointing to see some irresponsible writers who are contributing to the self-destruction of Filipino Voices. Why? It’s not fair to the rest of the well-intentioned FV writers. Who the writers are at Filipino Voices, defines Filipino Voices. And if this incident repeats itself, it is only Filipino Voices that I will hold responsible.
Filipino blogging community: Ugliest place to be
This is the ugly reality in the Filipino blogging community. The Filipino blogging community is one of the ugliest place to be. There are a lot of factions here and this is not for someone who has a faint of heart. In this blogworld, they’ll do all the trick to be noticed, to gain viewership, to push some hidden business and political agendas, even award each other by reinventing bayanihan to friends and volunteers. They threaten you and even hack you.
Yes, you will find nice and great people and foster meaningful friendly relationships here, but you’ll also find a lot of users and a bunch of assholes. Homophobics too. This is a dog eat dog world. And if you’re not careful? They’ll eat you alive without you knowing it.
My utmost gratitude again to my reader. I am very, very thankful for alerting me on this issue.

Panalo pa din yung Google rank 1/10…. it doesn’t mean na 1st yung blog mo at yun ang pinipili ng mga tao na unang basahin… it means your blog ranking in Google sucks since 1 lang page rank mo.. The higher the rank, the better.
And sa technorati na 900K+… it means ang rank mo eh isa sa pinaka nasa ilalim. The lower the value sa technorati, the better.

she will go bloghopping and read entires. then goes back to her blog. she’ll write about the blogger and the entry and tell the world how pretty she is and how twisted the blogger is. there is another trick. she will round up her minions on twitter and on plurk and they go all together like mad fuck mudders attacking the blogger. the end game? they receive blog awards for a job well done. for their circle of friends. that’s the other trick this sick individual daoes, i mean does.

ang alam ko ibinibigay ang doctorate honoris causa pag may ginawa kang something extrarodinary without having to finish an academic degree. . at walang time frame. The degree is conferred as a way of honoring a distinguished visitor’s contributions to a specific field, or to society in general. The university often derives benefits by association with the person in question or the university gets a check from the recipient of the award.
at ang law ay tinatawag nitong Juris doctor but it is a professional degree. not awarded as honoris cause. never have i heard someone who was given a doctorate in law, honoris causa.

does ateneo publishes the list of honoris cause that they awarded to whoever? am sure there has to be one. i don’t know kasi what’s the protocol sa dep’t of ed about giving honoris, di ba that was brought up dun sa issue ni manny na ni wala syang masters and so how could he get an honoris causa kaya they requested exemption.
doubtful ako na ateneo would just give out honoris causa nang bala bala. i mean if the as what he claims he only finished a bachelor’s degree, haller! what does that tell me in terms of getting an honoris chorva? an layo di ba? unless recto university did that

I still have a few writers on FV that I regularly visit. Yung iba, makita ko lang ang name sa byline, skip agad sa next article. I scream ‘self-righteousness’ when I see one, and it starts to eat the real essence of FV.
