Washington DC is nice. Yeah, it’s a very political town but that’s where most of the exciting activities happen. That is, political or otherwise. Haller! Remember Monica? It would have been nice if I got a job there. I could go home to Philly on a weekend. One of my most memorable experience here was when Jun, Julius & Galen and I went to a bar at the Navy Yard years ago. At that time, there was this stupid ordinance that dancers must wear at least one piece of clothing. So, what do you expect? We went to this bar, right? and it surprised the living daylight in me seeing male dancers dancing in the nude, kawal-kawal ari nila, and everyone were wearing with just one medyas. Puti pa kulay nya. Leche!

New York is equally nice. I’ve had a lot of memorable experiences here. But no inclination to live or even work in the city. Eh walang magkamaling mag-offer eh. Ok. Well, maybe for the right price, why not?! Hahaha! I mean, the sheer chaos in New York is too much for me. I guess that’s because I’m still barrio siete. But hey! It’s men galore in there!
Philadelphia? Who would not love this city? Very cosmopolitan. European touch. You’d love the museums. Sports fans here are so fanatic, they make it their own religion. At alam mo? Ikaw pa hahalikan at momolesyahin pag nanalo ang team nila. Ayun, kaya pag me laro ang Eagles, Phillies, Flyers at Sixers? Andun ako nakabalandra sa parking lot. But, I’ve been here more than ever ever. Kaya, I need to see other men places. (Read: pina-blacklist ata ako nang hayop na Doreen kaya walang magtyagang bumigay nang trabaho saken dito! Ayuff na yun! Hmpt!)
This was the place in America with that Blizzard/Storm of the Century in 1993. O baka ako lang ang sinusundan dahil sa kalaswaan ko?! Kapal nang snow? How’s 36 inches of snow sounds to you? 3 days, sarado ang city. Wall to wall ang ice. Well, we don’t get that much snow anymore. This one was in 2007. One of the last heavy snowfall we had.
If you’ve been snowed in and snowed out for more than half of your life, it wears you down. At least for me. I’m a sunshine gurl person. The coming fall/winter depresses the shit out of me. So, I don’t know if I’ll miss the snow. But I sure would miss Philadelphia.

Yeap! I am probably on the road right now, making pot-pot na, habang you are making basa this one. Driving. Sinalpak ko lahat nang mabibitbit ko inside my car. Gaya nang litrato nang crush ko na ka-chat ko earlier kaso duda ko, di nya ako type. *hikbi* Kaya emote ako habang sinasalpak ko sa kotse ang rice cooker, baso, pinggan, sapatos, kumot, porno, karne norte at datu puti. Me tuyo na ako.
From Philadelphia, maghahanap ako nang Cowboy somewhere in Tennessee. That’s about half the distance I’ll be driving today. Time zone ba ang layo, tipong drinayb ko from Manila hanggang Sapporo, Japan.
Rest somewhere in that area, emote nang konti to all the boys I loved before, then continue on to my destination. It’s going to be a long drive. Like 2 days of driving.
So yeah, I’m not afraid to take risks.
Yet, I don’t know why.
I’m scared shit nervous.
Because I don’t know what’s ahead of me.
That fear of the unknown crap.

And this is not the first time I took some risks.

hahaha! i am in Virginia Beach, leche! pumalpak ang navigator ko. i made a mistake na di ko na-check, wala pala sa map ko ang Georgia, Tennessee at Lousiana so, nag-detour ako and decided to go via Virignia Beach kung asan ang pinsan ko and downloading maps. leche! this will be a 3-day drive! hahaha

grabe, ingat k. alam mo ba sa aming safety ek ek. driving was identified as the greatest risk. driving for three days – ewan ko kung carry ko pero sabagay kung puro free way at may cruise control, oks lang siguro pero kaka-anntok ata yon. kailangan may boyelt sa tabi.
