What’s the buzz?
Etta James was pissed. Why? First, she was not invited to the ball. Second, because it was Beyonce who sang the song for President Obama and wife Michelle’s first dance at the Neighborhood Ball. The song? Her (Etta James) song “At last”. Listen to Etta James:
Who is Etta James?
Honestly, I don’t care. Some people say she’s a legend. Well, not to me! As far as I am concerned, she’s a classless bitch! If she thinks she deserves some respect, which I’m sure she does, then why go to the extent of badly dishing Beyonce the way she dished her? That’s not the mark of a legend, is it? I used to be a huge Etta James fan. But not anymore. I’m embarrassed for her. To me her version of “At last” was truly one great and remarkable song for all centuries. Beyonce was just doing her job and her performance was truly magical as well. If it’s true that she was pissed for not being invited by the Obama camp on the President’s inauguration, that was not Beyonce’s job? Is it? By acting like a childish brat on stage for the entire world to hear and watch her temper tantrum is leaning towards pathetic. Etta James should castigate the Obama camp and not Beyonce. But wait! Did Etta James just said that she’s not an Obama supporter and that Obama was not her president?! Hahaha! No wondah she was not invited. At 71, Etta James nevah did grow up! Ugh!

i think she’s just bitter that she was not invited but i’ve read so many comments on youtube that says, she’s got an attitude besides, if she’s not an Obama supporter, then that answers the reason why she was not invited. why cry then.

Etta James might have put superstar Beyonce on blast for singing her signature song, “At Last,” at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball after Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration, but the music legend said it was just a joke.
