Royal Blog Santacruzan 01/17/2009

by reynz on January 17, 2009

My blog round-up this week should be fun and funny with splice of nationalism chorva. With this blog round-up, I am officially announcing that I am the current Chairwoman of the Jologs Society, voted unanimously by me , and I will prove it to you as you go through Reyna’s 10.

This week’s blog round up brings us to Jen doing her Senior Bloggers chorva. There’s Snow hightlighting the trulala about beauty and brains and being a parliamentarian and what makes my panga ache with pains nang kakatawa was Chico Garcia’s blog. Leche, uber-fun talaga! Hahaha! But what I enjoyed the most was compiling my Gullas Bill on English chorva videos. Are you guys aware of that bill? Well, read on because I have some special videos for all you guys. One feeling elitista essentially said that if you blog in Tagalog, your are one jologs. Well, what about if you sing in Tagalog? What I found out is quite interesting. Will Tagalog be one super uber language of the world? Find out on this week’s Reyna’s 10. Here goes!

    Certified Senior Blogger

  1. A Tribute Campaign: Certified Senior Bloggista
  2. Jen is having her Ramon Magsaysay Award for Senior Bloggers and take note: this is not about age! Hahaha! This chorva is to preserve or reminisce, the memories of those bloggers who have contributed a lot when it comes to blogging. They are the foundation of this fun blogging experience sabi nya. Problema pag na-hack at walang bak-up. Hahaha!

    Strange Fruit

  3. Bakling Walang Ningning
  4. Ok, that was one suggested title for Gay Movies, which I got from Perfectly Flawed which she got from Strange Fruit. See how intergalactically intertwined our intestines are? Want some samples? Here:

    # Racer – “Inday Jones And The Crystal Strap-On
    # Dru – “Batman And Robin: Into The Bat-Hole
    # Dru – “Crouching Tiger, Swallows Dragon
    # RC and Cess – “Horny Potter And The Sorcerer’s Son
    # Jose de vengenge – “Sagad Hanggang Tonsils”
    # No name – “Sana Dalawa Ang Pusod Ko

    Real Beauty and Brains

  5. Maria Rosaria Carfagna: The Most Beautiful Minister in the World
  6. Now, what I am reminded of this entry was Richard Gomez, running for Mayor wait, Governor, nah! Senator of the Philippines. Sure! He’s got good looks! Popular and all. Good fit to have good-looking Senators. But you see, if you have “that” missing in you, it won’t work. Sometimes.

    Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa

  7. Bloggery Buzz of the Week (01.12.2009)
  8. I got that from Snow’s blog round-up. It was like – What?! “Nako – a!” What are these parents doing to their kids? Well, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, happens to be a name. A name given to a baby. Find out more and visit Bloggery Buzz of the Week (01.12.2009).

    American singing in Tagalog

  9. Mayonnaise – Jopay (”ako si chris” jOePM version)
  10. “Ako si chris”, is an American from Hoboken, NJ. In this video her performs his version of “Jopay” by OPM rockers Mayonnaise. OPM with an American twist. Now, aren’t you noticing something? Will Tagalog be soon one of the world’s prominent language? Meantime, listen to him:

    American Adobo

  11. Travis Kraft cooks up authentic Filipino food.
  12. So, who said that Tagalog is jologs? Not when you ran across a foreigner or an American from Bismarck, North Dakota who’s is trying his best to speak Tagalog and gosh! Here’s the challenge! Cooking adobo in Tagalog! Hahaha! You’ll love this!

    Balut!

  13. White guy shows how to eat balut
  14. You’ve seen the American guy cooking adobo in Tagalog, right? Well, what about another caucasian teaching you how to eat balut? Hahaha! I honestly have never, ever tried eating this one. Nevah! Hahaha! I can’t dig it, especially when I see those well… let’s stop there. Watch the video.

    Swedish Guy singing in Tagalog!

  15. Panalangin
  16. I got this from Bryan Boy. I guess this is his friend? Not sure. But I honestly love this guy singing in Tagalog! Da best! Hahaha! Can you imagine if the world starts talking ang singing in Tagalog?! Unbelievable! This is gonna be world domination! Hahaha!

Sorry! I can’t get enough of this guy! Thank you! Thank you Bryan Boy! Hahaha! What about BIKINING ITIM? Leche, yong mga tambay samen sings this song in front of dose-dosenang gin! Hahaha!

    Koreans singing Rosas Pandan

  17. Philippine folk song sung by Korean Choir
  18. Now, what about our famous Rosas Pandan being sung by a Korean Choir? Isn’t this something? I wish I could find a foreign group singing Waray-waray! I love that song! Hahaha!

    Russians learning Tagalog

  19. Russians speaking deep Filipino/Tagalog
  20. Now, what about Russians learning how to speak Tagalog? Isn’t this something? Russia is such a big country. I have Reyna readers working in the Sakhalin Island which is still part of Russia. My best regards to all the OFW’s working in Sakhalin Island!

    BONUS VIDEO!

  21. Ikaw Lamang sung by Infinito Singers of Indonesia.
  22. Markus, my Indonesian friend would love this! Reminds me of another Indonesian I became friends with who I met when he came down for training at SGV. He could understand my fellow officemates from Pangasinan. I was shocked! I did not know that we have traces of Bahasa Indonesia in one of our local dialects! Hahaha! Now, listen to this one!

Tagalog is not JOLOGS! Join my JOLOGS SOCIETY!

There’s your Royal Blog Santacruzan for this week people and I hope you like my choices this week! Be back here again next week for yet another blog roundup.

i remember, i was at Doha airport waiting for my flight when a group of middle-eastern men, -employees of the airport, i think- refer to each other as Bosing, Tol and Parekoy. huh?!!

hahaha! dito sa Philadelphia, in the gay community, alam na alam na ang ibig sabihin nang “bakla” and “bading” and they actually use it in conversation. pati tong kebigan kong belgian uses “diva” (di ba?) in his conversation hahaha

Oh, since you mentioned Doha Airport, for all my years of flying via Detroit, they are now making announcements in Tagalog at the Northwest Airlines flight from Detroit to Japan.

O ito siguro ang pruweba na madami na talagang PINOY all over the world!!!!! hahahahaha keep on multiplying Pinoy!!!!
At siguro dahil magaganda ang mga musik pinoy kaya gusto rin nilang kantahin…And I like those guys na nag luluto ng adobo at kumain ng balut they really likes Pilipino as friends and family!!!

natuwa naman ako sa mga vids mo. ang daming nagtatagalog. few years from now tagalog will also be used in the Olympics aside from french, english, spanish and the local language of the host countries. Even the Popes, when they are delivering international speeches in st. Peters, di nawawala ang tagalog.

I think some elite and patriotic bloggers should learn from these foreigners. haha.

BTW, kailangan pa ba dyan mag register sa society mo? lol Hindi ba kasama kami sa board of trustees LOL baka naman may annual dues pa yan?

True enough! I think we Filipinos should really realize how good we are, and we should be proud of our language. I am even wondering why some of us speak English when we are talking to each other, or even when leaving comments on each others blog post…..teka, parang ako yun a.

Wala gang age limit?

count me in your jologs society reynz! hahaha… hindi kaya mga pinay ang asawa o yaya ng mga itech? nagsisimula na nga ang world domination natin thru our exportation of yayas and maids (according to jessica zafra).
