Here's an update regarding the issue at hand:
http://www.bulatlat.com/main/2010/06/19/high-school-principal-reinstated-despite-anti-student-policies-corruption-issues/

We've also heard that Dr. Sadsad is intending to sue select Quesci alumni for "besmirching her name."

dating student po ako ng QueSci at naabutan ko si Sadsad, and she's certainly one of the worst principals i have ever encountered in my life(buti bago na ang principal ngayon.)

Hahaha! I was amused by thesilentmajority's comment:
We have accepted that even if one has given his best for 14 years, but remain bitter in human relationships will remain teacher 1.
We know who he'she is identifying and he is one of the most inspiring mentors in the school. He will always remind his students to do their best and do and choose what is right over what is easy. At this point, he rfepresents the last vestige of what used to be a principled corps of mentors.
We believe him because he chose to make a stand when making a stand isn't easy. And the fact that his students say that he continues to be a beacon of values by speaking against questionable methods like plagiarism and unconsulted policies speaks that he continues to do what a good teacher should.
I just hope more teachers will have the balls like him to call a spade a spede, and not to allow their principles to be prostituted. We in the alumni don't care if he remains teacher i, What worries us is that others get promoted even if we have filed complaints of incompetence and the like against our other teachers who we perceive as among the silent majority.
But I don't blame thesilentmajority for picking to remian univolved and uniformed. To rephrase a popular kasabihang Pinoy, and makinig at maniwala sa sabi-sabi ng isang taong pabago-bago ng policy, at mahilig magtago ng mga dokumento, ay walang bait sa sarili.
I am happy that the Alumni Association has made its stand about the issue clear, and that they are not tolerant of the inconsistencies in QueSci. I'm also relieved that the DepEd-NCR struck down the suspension because they discovered that many of the reasons given by the administrator are inconsistent with the documents. But I am saddened by the fact that many members of the once highly-principled faculty has sunk so low, turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to the issues and allowed themselves to be manipulated by believing prefabricated information the principal produced.
Quesci deserves a better administrator. Period.

Hmmm I certainly don't like the principal's idea to change the school name. I dunno but I just feel that it wasn't right.

As for the kids, naaawa ako sa kanila. High school life, as people say, should be memorable and I can just imagine what these kids are missing.

Hello Po!
It's sort of judging without really having any idea where all the outburst of emotions, reactions and concerns came from.

We don't have the right na pagbawalan ang sino man na magsalita. Pero sana unawain niyo na lang kami na naging part ng Que Sci if we are very much reactive on your comments kasi touchy sa amin yung issue. Yung mga estudyante na nagblog, protective kami sa kanila, because we have been like them, students of Que Sci. Pasensya na kung iba yung tingin namin sa issue because for us, it's more of protecting our beloved Alma Mater and it's beautiful legacy than looking at it as just a "responsible blogging issue". For the alumni, it's not letting anyone destroy our cherished memories of Que Sci and not letting anyone oppress Que Sci's present students who strive to carry on the legacy previous generations of Scientians have begun.

I hope you understand.

Thank you very much

We have heard the many accusations from the “suspended” students. We have seen the tainted efforts to paint the school under the martial rule. We sympathize with them.
We’ve given them their fifteen minutes of fame. And their time is up!

A Principal and 4 students don’t compromise the entire QueSci community. We are the silent majority. The little voices which still try to wake up early, troop to school, and finish the assignments. Some of us teach, give pieces of advice, drive pooled cars, feed Scientians, watch over the students, and worry what has now become of our school.

Our school which we have tried very hard to protect and devoted our lives into; which we have considered family, instead of finding one!

Our school which has given back to the community the best doctors, engineers, accountants, and lawyers.

Our school which has witnessed history and housed powerful individuals of today is becoming like the infamous Marquis de Sade whose oddity for pain and violence becomes the ideal—the hype, the in-thing, the new kewl!!! Blog the teachers, principal, things that are fancy; blog ate Duday!

Our school which gives honors to our family, which is dragged into the media pits, has learned compassion.

Compassion was the downfall of Marquis de Sade. He never learned it!

Through compassion, we learn not to use blogs to threaten people and become bitter! We learn not to be arrogant, head up and sashaying across the canteen just like a celebrity!
We deeply know inside that whatever pain we have given to other people, sleepless nights, obtuse curses, envious feelings, and just plain inconvenience will return to us, or our families’, ten folds.

We have accepted that not everyone can be put and labeled inside a box.
We have accepted that some of us enjoy putting a person down or casting judgment!
We have accepted that even if one has given his best for 14 years, but remain bitter in human relationships will remain teacher 1.

At the end of the day, Sadsad remains the principal. The students attend class. Teachers give tests!

Hi Ms. Reyna Elena,

Salamat sa pagdayo sa site ko. Nainspire ako sa mga sinabi mo. Huhuhu *sniff* *sniff* :D

Baguhang blogger pa nga ako. Kailangan ko pang kapalan ang aking skin from the nasty comments na minsan nailalagay sa aking mga blogs. At syempre, maging objective as much as possible at konting preno sa mga ratsada balita chorva.

Salamat ng marami!

Peace!

Hi Ms. Reyna Elena,

Pero pinabilib mo ako, Ms. Reyna Elena, for mentioning blogging responsibly. Sana naman, kung may criticisms yung iba, make it respectful and constructive as much as possible, hindi yung magiging character assasination ang magaganap (I am referring to the one who made the blog anonymously)

Also, if ever naman na yung anonymous blogger na yun na tumira sa principal e may valid na hinaing against the principal, dapat he had the balls to go to DEPED and file a complaint, hindi yung pinaalam mo sa buong mundo without going to DEPED. Parang na-bypass na ata ang DEPED dun.

Anyways, watch ko na lang ang blog mo for further updates para mahimay-himay ang tunay na nangyari kumbaga at ano ba talaga ang the real score. Medyo vague pa kasi ang ilang detalye.

Mabuhay ang Reyna Elena! :)

Hi Ms. Reyna Elena,
