Filipino Voices
I didn’t know what got me to check Filipino Voices this morning when I woke up. It must be the howling winter Philadelphia winds that tried to wake me up to stop the Cha-Cha and was warning me about some twisted calling in Pinoy Blogosphere! I had no idea, I belong to a herd. Queen Bee? And OMFG what have I stumbled there! Link led me to Pat Mangubat’s blog. I don’t know him. Never met him. Never read his blog until now.
Demi-gods?! What about a fairy god blogger?!
Yes, our topic for today is cleaning Pinoy Blogosphere with uhugin bloggers.
Oh motha!!! Deliver us from another fairy god blogger!
Do you recall our Blog Santacruzan for Week Ending 12/07/08? I was pretty cute in that pic huh? Nah, I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about Hail! The demi-gods of blogging! where Roy was talking about one blogger who demonized those who were writing paid posts. So, even if you think you can dance, there will always be battalions of fairy god bloggers around!
Yeap! You! You lowly Ka Pepe blogger you!
Yes! You may not be a taxi driver, but I’m talking to you! Because you’re the “Aeta” here, in this fairy god blogging! And yes, sweetheart, there were traces of Tracey Borres in this blogger. There are still people in the blogosphere both in Arkansas and in Manila who have no clue about the benefits of blog monetizing. Yeah, yeah, yeah! So what we wrote were not scientific! Yet we still got paid $10 for 100 words. Did we broke some fertilizer rules? Nope. And we were not asked to do some scientific testing either to come up with an academic writing fit to be published in the New England Journal of Medicine chorvalais. Their (ad agencies) whole idea was to create links that will drive traffic to their website. You don’t need a PhDXyZ for the small SEO which I, a php-abno blogger can understand. That’s the juice. Getz?! So, yo! Marhgil! We gotta clean up your blog and similar other blogs! Haha!
So who is he?
Says, he’s a personal blogger who is now a socio-political commentator that blogs with passion and now with CKB. Obsession. His article about Soros earned him the nod of Philippine Star columnist Carmen Pedrosa which – made him a star. Ok, he didn’t say that. But kinda. Hahaha!
What‘s NPR stands for?
“New ideas. It stands for change and recommends new ideas to build this Nation and regain its former glory.” Good for you!
Blogging is for everyone
So, I was reading his entry and it occurred to me: Gurl? Istatue?
There’s no question that blogging was one of the most wonderful invention yet for it has empowered all of us humans and animals (hello dogster!) to write good, bad, evil, spam shit and 2,000 words for $5 hahaha! And it’s free! Well, mine’s not. What about yours? And when it says it’s free – yes, even those notorious 419 gangstah can create one too! Truly one ugly equal opportunity! Hahaha!
Self-righteous blogger
Now, there were things, matters and objects he wrote of which I agree on. For example, he said:
“Those who self-promote themselves obviously lack intelligence and self-confidence.“
Which is right?
Right?!
RIGHT.
So, here’s an excerpt from his entry. He said:
“Right now, this site is also making its rounds in coffee shops, OFW centers and of course, in that dark room called Kalayaan Hall. Thus, New Philippine Revolution was born. NPR was my Sierra Madre, my Olympus, the apex of things I consider very important–the formation of the Filipino Nation. “
Oh motha!!! Was it my eyes or my balls? Did he just say that?! Hahaha! “Hey, Pat, be careful next time huh?! When you point fingah’s? Make sure, it’s not pointing at ‘ya!” Hahaha! Let’s move on.
Star-strucked, scratched his back
Apparently, our guy here partied. He attended Janet Torral’s 2008 Most Influential Blog and was star-struck when he met the Hollywood bomba stars like: Marck Rimorin; Juned Sunido; Jen; Flow; JV Fernandez; Markku Fernandez; Pinoy Blogosphere; Jester-in-Exile; Jon Linjap; Cocoy; Caffeine Sparks; Pau and DZBB boss, Ding Gagelonia. Ok, people, it’s time to scratch Pat’s back! Hahaha! Charing! Wait, Jester?! Nahhhh! Here’s what he had to say:
“It was a delight meeting the Jester-in-Exile, a brilliant kid with a rock-solid nationalism. Talking with the Jester makes me all the more optimistic that things will become better in due time.”
Brilliant?! (Hold it Jepoy, let me talk!) Hahaha! Now, I don’t know what brilliancy Jester has other than lies. But I will raise my right hand on the lies that Jester wrote about me who manipulated my entries by deleting certain lines to fit his morbidly dark purpose. I guess that was his kikipedia definition of brilliancy, right? Sounds more like those erroneous Philippine textbooks. Jester’s minds full of lies should be exiled.
Sorry, you’re not on the list.
You think JDV, the father will cry impeachment if the son got a good contract? I don’t think so gurl! So, why do I think that somebody must have been left out in the list? Possible? Could be! Right? Here’s what he had to say:

Yes, they are selling their very souls to corporate Public Relations practitioners (and Malacanang press operators). Hmm… Was it because that blogger scored one big political ad? And not him? Or did the blogger twisted and manipulated public opinion that puts Pinoy civilization at risk? Now, that would be a totally “don’t make tulog, let’s make baka” different thing. Right? Oh! JDV! You are so influential! Hahaha!
It’s one tough charge. If we would only know the nuts and bolts of the agreement so that we would know what was jeopardized and whose ethics was on the line. Was it the blogger or was it Pat’s?
I was sold as a blogger?!
He said:

DON’T ALLOW THIS HALLOWED PLACE OF FREE EXPRESSION BE CORRUPTED BY CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS, POLITICAL OPERATORS AND WHAT HAVE YOU. WE MUST POLICE OUR RANKS. WE MUST STAY CLEAR OF PEOPLE WHO USE US JUST TO PROMOTE A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, DEFEND A DIRTY POLITICIAN OR DESTROY REPUTATIONS.
WHAT?! Let me go back. He has this to say:
People like Butch Dado and his lovely wife Noemi, Dang, Janet, JV and all others are trying their darnest best to keep the Pinoy Blogosphere clean as a whistle but this stupid ingrate tried to spoil everything.
Noemi?! JV?! Cleaning the Philippine blogosphere?! Fckshit?! Really?! My ass was on fire with his humor!! Hahaha!
So, how do you make the Philippine Blogosphere clean?
I got an idea on how to police the Pinoy Blogosphere! First let me begin by saying: Good luck! I wish you the best. If 419 Nigerians have a place in our spam mails, and so are some twisted bloggers that I see on his list. Hey! Idealism could be good, unless it borders on cluelessness! Sometimes, fairy god blogger could be presumptuous and really clueless! But I have suggestions! Besides as Reyna? I’m here to help! Hahaha
STEP ONE
Start with the “brilliant” Jester. He’s got some twisted brain thoughts written against me in his blog. Maybe we could start by cleaning that up. (Jepoy , Blue! – will you guys stop elbowing me?! Hahaha!)

STEP THREE
Next, follow up by lecturing these bloggers who are “cleaning up the Pinoy blogosphere” on how to use Twitter and Plurk and ask them to enroll in my Social Climbing Classes. A seminar on ethical twittering and plurking would certainly help these cleaners. Gosh! Uniforms a must to cover their faces!

They always advocate for freedom of expression, freedom of enterprise but they will be the first to howl when they disapprove some bloggers’ money-making schemes.
so what if they sold their souls. That ‘s their souls, not his. In the meantime, he heaps praises for those people who are also selling links…who are also making money by taking advantage of the EB sponsored by corporations and or companies that want to promote their products. Don’t you see their faces in the EB pictures. Don’t you read their domain names in the love links which they require the bloggers they met. Don’ t they promote their books, their seminars, and their webhosting during the event? Do they think that it is pure friendship on their part. You call it social climbing and they call it networking.
Don’t they make it feel that it is an honor for the new bloggers to meet them, the demi-gods of the blogosphere?
These second generation bloggers have put themselves in the pedestal as if there is hierarchy of bloggers. sheesh.

Self-righteous bloggers. Oh when did we ran into them? Let me count my fingers? They even have some advocacies like it would right the wrong. Who knows, if there was a list, I’m sure he’s not on the list.
I know one person he listed that I saw at the Nuffnang Event in October 2008. Sure, we were all not paid. But what’s the Php1,000 gift certificate from SM? Wasn’t that “trade” payments? So, does this equal the guy he listed as one of those he looks up to as “clean”? And calling the gods of “ethics”?! Squeeze me?!

hindi naman ako matalino day ano? at mahina lang ang boses ng kumakarag kong blog, pero yung limang pisong kinita ko kahapon, gusto nyang kunin, aba’y teka teka teka, pinaghirapan ko iyon at isa pa sabi ko nga sa mahal kong asawa, iyon ang unang limang piso kong minahal, pinaghirapan at inenjoy. I could work somewhere else. Mas malaki pa ang sweldo ng pactorya queen pero ito ang na eenjoy kong gawain. Bakit nya aalisin?

May naalala tuloy ako isang blogger na nung bago palang ako, pinag pyestahan nya ako sa blog nya kasi daw ginagamit ko daw ang blogging for making money… (for these people, “sacred” daw ang blogging – hahaha, my ass!).
Unahin muna nila i cleanup kubeta nila, then pati bunganga nila, then pati kalye nila, then pati politico sa lugar nila bago sila mang husga ng iba. San ba mababasa na ang blogging ay para lang sa mga taong tulad nila?
Kesyot di kami magaling mag ingles na tulad nila, ey kung magsalita sila akala nla naimbento ang blog para sa kanila. Teka, freedom of expression ba? And freedom online ba? Di ba sila umiiyak ng freedom of ispitz!
Kung ganyan pala sila, di wala silang pagkakaiba kay GLoria Arroyo na hayagang binabastos nila sa blog nila. OO nga ….kaya ka ba tumatawag ng WORLD PEACE????????? Para na tuloy kayong malilit na klaseng politician….talak ng talak …..hindi mag tulungan at ng gumanda ang mundo niñyo…sa katulad kong nakikibasa, at tuldok lang ang nalalaman ….lalo tuloy na co-confuse…..ganyan ang nangyayari sa Masang Filipino…naguguluhan kaya minsan ayaw ng pansinin ang tungkol sa política….ano ba ang agenda ng mga blogger?????di ba mag sulat at i-express ang kanilang gustong sabihin?????? Sana ganun na lang …….wala ng awayan …dahil walang mangyayari sa atin nyan……iyon lang Mahal na Reyna at akoy mag-aasikaso na ng aking pamilya……..magandang umaga po!!!!!!!!

hahahaha! Blind guides the blind ampucha. Noon optimistic ako kay jester dahil medyo nagagalingan ako sa kanya dahil sa lalim ng vocabulary nya, pero nung umandar na lohika nya… naknamputsa.. OLATS.
Kelan naging criticism yung ginawa nya samin (GameOPS), kay bluepanjeet, at reyna elena? Eh puro accusations at kasinungalingan pinagsasabi nya.
Dun sa nagsasabi naman na linisin blogosphere… kelan pa ba naging malinis to? Sus, eto bang ginagawa nung black and white movement malinis sa paningin nya? Ano din pinagkaiba nung sinabi nyang nagbenta ng sarili sa PR companies sa paggawa ng paid reviews and pagoffer ng adsense.. eh parang binebenta mo na din kaluluwa mo sa iba nun diba? Sya nga may adsense din eh…

sana ang pagtuunan nya ng pansin eh ang totoong pagtulong sa bayan. yah know, wag puro dada. puro IDEALS wala namang action.
anong tingin nya sa mga bloggers, tanga? hoy senyor self-righteous, ang laki na ng kinita ko sa posporo palito pito, it’s sooo big I could even buy a car! i have a day job, i work 6 days a week, i render 2 hours OT everyday, and yet, ang sweldo ko is enough lang panggastos sa bahay and everything. the EXTRA MONEY i earn from blogging is the same money i use para tustusan ang pag aaral ng kapatid ko.it’s the same money i use para magpakabit ng water tank sa bahay (grrr, walang maynilad sa barrio, naka-dug well kami!!!). it’s the same money i use to help my family and others who are in need. and guess what, it’s the same money i will use para i-renovate ang kitchen namin next year. can’t you see how I benefit from these corporate sponsorships? look, ngayon hinde ko na kelangang kumapit sa patalim at magbenta ng laman para ipantustos sa pamilya ko LOLLLL
napakawalang kwenta ng ideal na pinaglalaban mo dude. haller haller? sino ka para ideclare na “BLOGGERS ARE PURE SOULS” “BLOGGING IS SACRED” i will never ever ever ever ever believe that crap. duh, kelan pa naging divine ang blogging? at baket Pinoy Blogosphere lang ang dapat linisin? hinde ba mas marapat na linisin ang BUONG blogosphere? naku, sabihin mo kaya kay John Chow yang ideals mo at ng makita mo ang hinahanap mo hahahahhaha. masyado kang pantasyadora. kesa mag pulis-pulisan slash metro aide ka sa blogosphere, i suggest mag volunteer ka na lang sa mga depressed area or sa valenzuela, dun madaming kalat dun yun na lang ang linisin mo hahahha. ACTION IS SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN WORDS.
PS, in my opinion (akin lang to, wag nyo masyadong paniwalaan), some of the people he mentioned who are allegedy trying their darnest best to keep the Pinoy Blogosphere clean are into CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS as well and who knows, baka they’re PROMOTING A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT too, or DEFENDING A DIRTY POLITICIAN OR DESTROYING REPUTATIONS.
