Royal Blog Santacruzan WE 12/07/08

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This week was a toughie. Well, blog-hopping in itself is a toughie and looking for some great content is even the more challenging. But when I find one, I feel great.

(Gosh! I really miss Davao! Oops! Me relo pala ako d2! Hahaha! I lied! That’s Tita Poorsya who’s now back in Germany.)

This week, my royal blog santacruzan takes on a different route with some interesting sites I found! I had no idea they existed! J’espere que you like these great finds! Here we go with this week’s Reyna’s 10!

    Blogslapping!

  1. Chuva Chienes’ Blogslapping
  2. Hey, not all bloggers are MBA, BS, PhD, High School or Elementary grads. Some of them have double troubled bachelors and bachelorettes. So, they have no clue what they are subscribing into. Yon bang tipong they’re headed to Hongkong and then sumakay nang traysikel papuntang Guam?! Get this! When you ENTER dapat alam mo ang EXIT. Haller!!! Knock! Knock! Earth calling Earth!!! Check out Chuva Chienes’ Blogslapping and you’ll know what I mean!

    Lowly peasant bloggers!

  3. Hail! The demi-gods of blogging!
  4. As if Blogslapping 101 of Chuva Chienes is not enough, here’s another one from the House of PuRoy! I know a lot of my regular readers here will definitely relate to this one. After all, were’nt we all lambasted by the so called “elite bloggers” way back then? I have no clue what’s an “elite blogger” when I could see that I am mucha mucha bonita than them all combined! Hahaha! Haluin mo pa hehehe! But, I went to the site, read the stupid rants, and more entries he made, until I realized - AHA! I think that was all but a strategy to drive traffic to his site! So far, I read three (3) entries of similar shit. I stopped. I made my own therefore may I conclude. So, to Roy and everyone out there, KIVER! There will always be people who’d put blockades, iron gates and watosi along the way, but let it not be! Blog till it hurts! Hahaha!

    Free E-Book!

  5. The Ultimate Super Tip: A Free E-book Review
  6. And just like I said above, blog till it hurts! And even if we, the lowly peasant bloggers gets slammed by those blog superstar wannabes, at the end of the day what matters is if you were able to add $1 to your paypal account kahit na chugi PR or Peter Paul and Perry left you aside. There are still ways to make money and you might want to check out what Father Blogger’s entry is.

    Webcams!

  7. Webcams around the world!
  8. Never been out of the country? I’m sure with so many Filipinos around the world bringing stories and pictures of the places they’ve been to, especially Nina na Space Station na lang ata ang di nararating! Grrr! Well, now you can. Without ever leaving your seat in front of your computer with an internet connection of course. Check out Zurich, Switzerland where you can even control the camera! Or, what about Vienna, Austria? You could even check what’s going on at Ground Zero at any moment in time! Nice, isn’t it? A beach in Israel, or the Great Pyramids of Egypt! There! You don’t need any passport at all!

    Cheap Gas!

  9. Gas Buddy
  10. This one is for my North American readers. I know, I know, gas prices have been doing some London Bridge lately, but soon, you might just find this one handy. You’d ask, where’s the cheapest gas? GasBuddy can tell you. The site collects real-time prices from some 750,000 volunteer price “spotters,” who send in daily updates from their local stations. It pays to stay informed, you know. A heat map displays where prices are currently the highest (California) and lowest (Wyoming). GasBuddy also shows you how prices have changed over time and can send mobile updates to your phone.

    Lazy to read manuals?

  11. Howcast
  12. Now, what about if you’re one lazy know nothing faucet dripping heater not working coz I have no clue how to fix them? Oh, did I tell you that I don’t read manuals?! Hahaha! This is the reason why this website was created. This is a gem. They even copied my humor! Each video is rated — often by thousands of members — so you won’t waste bandwidth on the boring ones. So, the next time you need to know how to open a red wine, don’t call me.

    Reyna, 26th Most Influential! Hehehe!

  13. 25 Most Influential People on the Web
  14. Haha! Charing lang! Eto… if you care to know your neighborhood - which you should - Time Magazine named the 25 Most Influential People on the Web. You have Steve Ballmer of Microsoft, Mithcell Baker of Mozilla, Jeff Besos of Amazon, The google guys in Sergey Brin, Larry Page, and Eric Schmidt, Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post who I admire a lot!, Steve Jobs of Apple, Jack Ma of Alibaba, you all know Matt Mullenweg of Wordpress, Rupert Murdoch of guess what! myspace!, Craig Newmark of well, craigslist!, you have the cute guy Kevin Rose of digg, what about Sheryl Sandberg of facebook!, Jon Stewart of the daily show surprised me!, what about your nokia guy Anssi Vanjoki, Jimmy Wales of wikipedia, Evan Williams of Twitter and of course Jerry Yang of Yahoo. Take note, it’s not crowded in there. You all still have a chance to be one of the most influential. So keep up the good work!

    Christmas Tree Parade!

  15. The 2nd Annual OTWOMD Christmas Tree Blog Parade 2008 Launching
  16. There’s that Online Christmas Parade again! Hope in and join a different kind of holiday santacruzan over at Bluepanjeet’s! To give you an idea: Christmas tree photos used last year cannot be used this year. Your Christmas tree photos should be current. You can do this on your other blogs if you have two or more blogs provided that the people tagged on one blog should not be tagged on the second blog etc etc. each blog should have a different set of people to be tagged.

    Taxi! Taxi!

  17. Taxi!
  18. We all have some bloody experiences with the taxis and taxi drivers in Manila, right? My sister and my niece lived in Manila for three years. Andito na uli sila. My niece, she went to Reedley and before, we had no car. So they took the taxi. Eh dahil english speaking ang niece who cannot speak Tagalog, there has been many, many occasions na almost US dollar na ang pamasahe nang pamangkin. That was one of the reasons why I bought a car dahil sa mga demonyong taxi drivers. Last May 2008, while Pusa and I had dinner at Serendra, color coding ang car ko, so we both took the taxi. Leche, nung gabi na - no one dared gave us a ride! Ang mga hayup! So, here’s a story by Kengkay for taxi drivers in Manila.

    For health freaks!

  19. Zeer
  20. Finally, to all you health buffs out there, who’s counting all the darn calories of almost every intake you do, “You are what you eat!”, which is so damn right given the kind of things I eat. Hehehe! I’m sure you’ll love this site!

Snow normally has her Blog Buzz of the Week for more blog reviews, I guess they are on hold until Pacquiao dances with my big crush De La Hoya. Hehehe! There’s your Royal Blog Santacruzan for this week people and I hope you like my choices this week! Be back here again next week for another blog roundup.

  2. Wow! Thanks for including my free e-book, Reynz. I did not expect that. Anyway, just like my advice yesterday on my blog, wala munang magpo-post now ha. Unless, about sa laban nina Pacquaio at Dela Hoya. Kung hindi, lalangawin lang yan sa search engines. Buti pa, manood lang muna tayo.

By the way, advance info lang po. Meydo magfo-focus muna blog ko sa Family and Parenting Tips. Pero syempre, dadalaw pa rin ako sa iyo. Wala na akong magawa e, dumikit na yung blog mo sa balat ko e….lol!
