My first Sony experience is with my Sony walkman

I still remember the war.
I mean, the VHS and Betamax war.
When you?re a leader in the industry like Sony, a failure is not seen as a failure, rather, an opportunity to be even better. And that?s what Sony did. With a name synonymous to quality, they remained the standard of most companies in the electronics industry. With constant innovation they would continue to bring in new and fresh innovative technology to the market. One of those? The walkman, which would be my very first Sony property.
Winter in Philadelphia is brutal. When I was going to school here, I did not have a car. I took the public transport ? bus, train and the subway. During the winter, winter blast could bring the wind chill factor temperature to below zero and down to negative degrees. Now that’s enough to really hurt your face, your eyes and your ears. I live in the far northeast section of the city and it takes me more than an hour to get to school. With my walkman, I became inventive. I bought an ear-muff wide speaker enough to cover my ears. So, my first Sony property would become my saviour in a brutal wintry Philadelphia. Little did I know that this would be the start of one Sony invasion in my life.
Soon after, my house would be filled with Sony TV, receivers, DVD players, the 50-CD Sony CD player and every electronics tagged Sony that I could imagine. My house was more like a living Sony interactive store. I even bought the very first Sony Vaio laptop computer that came out of the market sometime in 2001. This was the very laptop I used during my Business School days until I graduated in 2004. This is still the very laptop I am using right now.
If the electronics industry made Sony their standard, I made Sony my semi-god. Why? Because the product quality of Sony is one long-term savings investment for any responsible consumer. When you buy a Sony product, quality is almost never asked because it is sort of imbedded in the name. The longevity is automatically assured. The fine qualities of the graphics, the crispness of the pictures are just added bonuses.
From my very first Sony Walkman that saved me from the brutal winter in Philadelphia to my Sony Vaio laptop that helped me tremendously with my graduate studies at George Washington U and Temple U, I could honestly say that it definitely gave significance in my life just like how Sony?s World?s First RGB LED Backlight LCD TV: Bravia X450 would revolutionize entertainment at home.

i bought a Sony TV (made in Japan) and it lasted for more than 10 years, but for now, how sure are we that a product is really made in Japan, everything seems to be made in China. so now i dont care about the brand, but maybe if I will be buying kitchen knives, I’ll buy the ones made in Germany. i am still using the alarm clock Braun, given to me more than 25 years ago by my Canadian boss
