Jealous ba u wid what Nicole Kidman was wearing? Envy that you can?t afford Monique Lhuillier?s creation? Well, if you?re ready to spend a fortune to the tune of around Php35,000 for one Dolce Gabbana when you can buy it for Php150 at some store corner in Carriedo, do the math, and when you walk in fancy Greenbelt, would they know?
Conchita, they won?t know. If you?re walking with some classy and finest clothes selected from ukay-ukay, what it does is give you confidence, a lot of it, that you were the smarter buyer than the fine-assed conio in front of you, who probably maxed-out her card just to buy one piece of Miu Miu blazer. Who knows, maybe her whole salary is also on a lay-away. Getz?
So, if you go for ukay-ukay shopping? True to what American Express says, you can truly shit leave your damn card in the trash! Because, gurl, you don?t need it. Better still, cut it out!
Kaya naman, I truly commend Pusakay, my beautiful ceremonial girlfriend slash wife slash concubine slash my future bugaw for featuring her because she created one blog that truly features the positive side (financial, fashion or otherwise), of ukay-ukay shopping.

one member of gucci gang is rumored to have been buying PREOWNED ( yan ang term nila sa second hand) branded handbags sold at invitation-tupperware-like parties ng mga alta sosyedad.
and do you know that a popular and high end store in makati was rumored to have been selling signature high fashion apparel like they were new. Talking about fake of fakes.Yon pala ukay din. Mga donation ng mga artista sa Hollywood sa mga thrift shop dito for charitable purposes.

tama ka dyan Cat! i have seen many local pinoy artistas na mega-visit ang Franklin Mills mall sa Philadelphia dahil outlet mall nga to, where they buy cheappangang signature labels and who knows baka binebenta rin sa mga boutiques sa Manila dahil ang kebigan kong pinoy na owner nang brokerage firm dito sa Philly was telling me na minsan puro balikbayan boxes na ang laman eh mga damit na minsan binili pa sa flea market. i don’t have problems dyan whatsoever hahaha

start by being an ukay-ukay model ki pusakay hahaha! interestingly, meron din bang mga flea market sa Germany??? nagkalat kasi yan dito and meron din kaming Outlet Malls kung saan kami makakabili nang mga signature labels na murang mura. although, indi lahat nang states. dito sa Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York andami.

reyns — may mga flea markets din dito. may mga second hand stores at may mga branded second hand stores din.. ang problema ko, maarte si kengkoy e. baka kung anong sakit daw ang makuha namin sa ukay ukay, hindi nya alam halos lahat nung dala kong damit galing pinas e galing sa ukay ukay, hehehe. wag ako ibisto at susunugin nya yon, hahaha
