Prelude to more than a woman!
Halloween is the night when women in Philadelphia truly outnumber men! Hahaha! So, if you’re in the city and have a date, dude! Let me tell you something! You better size your date up else that might not be a girl!!! Hahaha! So, in 2006, I could have decided to don my birthday suit and be surrounded by gladiators!
Since I did not have any halloween costumes other than my truly-not-scary-face-coz-I’m-truly-cute, instead, I decided to dress up in all black! Dang! I could have been dancing tonight at SM! I hate this! I am just bloody jealous with everyone who is enjoying their time! I hate you all!!! Grrr!
I know I?m cute but don?t be like me. My costume is so forgettable; Simon Cowell will smack the heck out of me. Do something truly remembering. Like don?t dress up at all. No, not that. If you?re attending a Halloween Party tomorrow night, I suggest you trick your friends and families and don?t repeat the trick that you did in the past. It won?t work. They will remember how ugly you were. Trust me. What about at work? In my previous job? You can come in as a witch. Why? My former boss was a witch. She is! Everyone hates her but of course, you don?t show that at work. It?s not Halloween everyday at work.
So, let’s see, what will I be tomorrow?
World Champion: PHILLIES! Congratulations!
I was outside smoking when all of a sudden, people starting coming out of their homes and started screaming! I was really surprised! What’s going on?! I asked my neighbor! Duh! I was so busy blogging that I did not know that the Phillies just won the World Series! Immediately I tuned in to the radio while watching TV! Can you imagine? The city was instantly celebrating. Some were rowdy and were even trying to knock down a media car and a fire truck! Now, why do they do this? I don’t understand!
Kagulo sa shoedad namen mga kabisyo! The Phillies just won the WORLD SERIES! Putok all over the place! Meya’t meya nito me mga sunog na dyan! Hahaha! Labasan ang mga tao sa kalye kahit na pagkalamig lamig ever! My congratulations!
Lower your monthly credit card payments through debt consolidation
Becoming debt-free is one that we all long for. Heck, this credit life in America is what brought us all to this crazy credit driven life. I?m sure I?m not the only one who?s having some tough time getting rid of all my credit cards. It?s one thing if you have a house. You can certainly use your home equity to get rid of your credit cards through
debt consolidation. But wait, you?re actually just adding it up to your mortgage balance. But there?s another way you can reduce your credit card debts of up to 50%! You can have one easy, low monthly payment. You can avoid bankruptcy and you could be debt-free in as little as 12 to 30 months. If you find yourself overwhelmed by debt, try getting a consolidation loan. They don?t require any credit checks any more.
How often uncivil behavior occurs at work? (A request to take the survey)
I’m trying to assist my Professor at Fox School of Business of Temple University in Philadelphia, Mr. Howard J. Weiss (Professor of Management Science/Operations Management and Executive MBA and Professional MBA Academic Director). One of our friend, Gary Giumetti, a PhD student at Clemson University has asked for help on his PhD dissertation.
Gary, a graduate student at Clemson University, is doing a PhD dissertation. It’s a research that he is conducting. Essentially, he is interested in knowing how often uncivil behavior occurs at work and how employees react to others uncivil behavior. Now, that rings a damn strong bell to all of us Overseas Filipino working around the globe, ain’t it?!
Another alternative for your immediate funding needs
Typically, if you?re a small business owner needing some emergency operational funds, you go to the bank and get a line of credit. With the financial crisis, it?s no longer that easy to knock at your local bank and expect some immediate funding. You need to have a super swanky clean credit with a really good history of payment and payment patterns that could be checked. Otherwise, you?ll be in a lot of trouble especially if you?re in the business of holding up to some inventory. With cash advance, a small and short tem loan, you are able to bridge your gap between days that you are selling your inventory to the time that you will eventually collect them. This is the beauty of payday loans or cash advance. They are there for your immediate needs. It?s a lot less hassle than going through bank requirements and compliances that you need to fill out and supply. Less hassle means more productivity on your part. Fewer headaches mean more time to strategize your business. More time for your business is what you need instead of worrying as to whether or not the banks will be amenable to your current situation. So, use cash advance as another alternative for your immediate funding needs.
Mga mangungutong sa Manila Memorial Park
College pa lang ang lola, nasa Jeymerikah na ang mga pay-rents ko. Every year, inu-uwi ko talaga sila para mag-bakasyon. Then, iwan ko sila there in Manila. One time, pabalik na ang fadir sa US, aba! nasarapan sa tulog! Di na kamo nagising!
Kaya, everytime eye em in Manila, may I pay respects ang lola sa madir and fadir. Naunang nabigyan nang visa ni San Pedro ang fadir. Wa problem. After 3 years, sumunod si madir. Hers was the most difficult one dahil nadulas sa bahay nang bradir at 4 am sa Tiwi, Albey and went on a coma for 2 weeks. Terrible talaga. Mas terrible ang mga sumunod na nangyari dahil pilit na ini-uwi nang aking bradir from Amerika si madir sa Barrio Siete. Di ako pumayag. Ninakaw ko si madir with the help of my brods and friends in Legazpi at dinala ko sa Manila. I want the two to be together forever. Gyera mondial sa la familia ko ang nanyari. Andami kong na-receive na punyeta. Mula nun up to today, wez kami usap usap en me la horreur de familia.
Gear Up Like the Pros with Nikon ATB Promotion
My friend Mike is a hunting craze maniac. Whenever I get the chance to drop by their house and have a few drinks, it always ends up trucks of drinks because his mountain-climbing deer-hunting stories almost always dominate the conversation. Interestingly, he was actually the one who suggested the Nikon’s All Terrain Binocular (ATB) to me. You see, deer population in the United States is regulated. There are season for deer hunting to control the population. A lot of hunting enthusiasts, Mike as one of them, eagerly wait this season. So, if you are like my friend Mike, just as he has recommended to me, the best Hunting Optics products actually come from Nikon. They have a full line of hunting gear, from jackets, ladies clothing, fleece jackets and caps. Incidentally also, from now till December 31st 2008, you can receive a $25 or $50 gift card for NikonProGear.com when you buy a Nikon ATB binocular. That?s right, the are giving out Free ATB Pro Gear

When I started looking for a job, I knew that I will be rejected by many. And yes, I was. Some of them sent me the standard rejection letters that they?ll be keeping my resume for 100 years in their loser?s database. There were those who just remained silent. And there were those with the typical response, ?We?ll call you!?
When I went to Chicago for an interview, I was just too cute for them to handle that they verbally offered the job to me right there. They wanted me to start right away, ?We wanted you yesterday!? That was the response by the Executive Director. She was so happy with me ?We?ll do anything and you just let us know what you need to move to Chicago!? was what she told me. She even increased the offered salary plus a car allowance. The verbal job offer was confirmed in writing.

Big online banking misconception about online banking in Manila
Pauunahan ko na kayo. My entry today will not demean or i-ismol-ismolin, ookray-okrayin ang online banking in the Philippines. I hope my entry will offer a sense of angelic enlightenment (o di ba?) to all of us who have lived in the western world who have experienced what online banking there means and are clueless as to what they do over here in Manila. Here, don’t be fooled. Behind all these glittering business towers in Manila, swanky malls, very courteous security guards, pretty ladies at the counter and way slow customer service, online banking here is so archaic, it’s one level above Barrio Siete banking. Angry?! Annoyed?! Surprised?! Let me explain.
First, let me explain what an online banking in the United States means.
