My entry today is dedicated to reyna readers from Hongkong, Singapore, the Middle East and a number of stock trading wannabes in Manila pati na tong mga blogfriends kong handa na ata akong umbagin because I have not posted nothing about this in a year. Yeah, I lurked in all of your forums and read a good number of entries in there and I was really impressed! Sheeet! Thank you all for the links pala. I?m really impressed knowing that some of you are just in your 20?s or 24 and are already into all these stock investing. Congratulations!!! Kelan ka pa ba mag-sisimula? Like moi pag otsenta na? As in haller! Venti anyos ang lola nun, nagbebenta lang ako nang kamoteng kahoy noh! Not a faggest clue kung ano tong investing eklavu. Kaya naman, ya?all whose got your hands on stock investing, if you do it right, I?m sure you?ll hit it big when you retire and retire does not necessarily have to be 60. You can retire when you?re 30 or 1. Yung 1 kasi malaki ang mana ki fadir.
Disclaimer:
But before I start? Keri kung mainis kayo but here’s that darn disclaimer again!!!: “I?m not writing to give you a financial advice. Charing! Hahaha! These are nothing more than my personal eklavus and chorva chorva and should not be used to decide in trading stocks else talagang pipingutin ko singit mo. I?m writing based on my experience working for 2 broadcast investment firms in the East Coast and with the 4th largest housing authority in the United States. That experience included tax credits, equity, bond financing, financial reporting and many more in the areas of men, este audit and finance”.Ok. Now, that we’re done with this chorva:
Subprime: Reyna?s most read entries
Currently, two of my best read entries ay eto at eto pa. It has now surpassed my scandal story pati na ang application letter chorva. I’m glad. At least for once, indi na lang puro kalibogan ang hanap sa balay ko noh? Lahat nang mga papuri nyo babaunin ko next week when I drive to Washington DC for another job interview. Of course, ya?ll know about the interview. Sometimes a word like subprime, could be very intimidating to understand and I?m glad I was able to break it down to one patatas for the world to understand. Ngayon, you now are all investing savvy and Wall Street conscious chorva. Which is good, dahil mga Pinoy tau and we don?t wanna be one kind of bugok walkin? around tryin? to luk good.
Don?t listen to conio stock wannabees
One time, I was with Chuva in a Makati coffee shop, we?ve overheard stock investing conversations at talagang gusto kong sabunutan ang mga yon, kaso mas maganda sila. Bumagsak daw ang stock nang Enron kaya it?s a good time to buy. Haller!!! A lot of conio people, sophisticated wannabes, graduates of chorvalais schools who frequent sosy coffee shops will sometimes throw out some itchy bitchy banana stock symbols, one liners, shit like ?Buy low sell high?, to shock people over some alfombra in their kape de leche. And then there’s the usual, “maganda raw ang stocks na yun”, but you know what, chorva lang yun mga kunichiwa, truth it, a lot of these echebureches probably have no clue of what their talking about.
Are you new into investing?
So you?re new into investing? I?m not telling you that financial forums are bad, since they’re still a source of information but what you should do also, is to hit the library, hit the internet stocks and bonds site and subscribe or read the Wall Street Journal. They would even give you a book, a stock investing primer or sum?tin. You need to read that and understand it by heart. Wall Street Journal is a great resource for learning about investing, insurance, stocks, bonds at kung ano ano pa at meron kamo silang easy to read summary.
Pede mag-rent nang maid to read for us?
Tanga! Puro ka reklamo na mahirap. Haller! Ba?t ka napunta nang abroad? Mahirap den sya divanetch? At mas lalaong mahirap makitang naglaho ever ang anda mo for all the years mong pagtatrabaho. Uuwi ka rin. Gusto mo bang bumalik sa barong barong? Hahaha! Truth is, yong mga taong walang alam will depend on ?Investment Advisors? to give them matiwasay advices but geezzz, we know that all men were not created equal and there are those na ku-kwartahan ka lang. Bottom line? Ikaw at ikaw lang ang magiging responsible for all your investment choices and decisions while your ?Investment Advisors? earns commissions seyo. While investment forums are another way to get information, kelangang salain mo yong information there kasi minsan me halong yabang. Getz?
Not a financial advice
So, to ya?all, utang na loob, pag-aralan ang basics of stocks and mutual funds. You can look for them on google. Tigilan nyo ako, but if you cannot explain to me what a bond yield is, then for WORLD PEACE, don?t yield your money, or even be a financial blogger! bruha! Hmpt!
Nga pala! HOY! Mga leche kayo! Utang na loob! Boto nyo naman My Mayon Volcano o! Parang awa nyo na! Waaa! Bumagsak na syaa! Utang na loob! Iboto nyo!!!

as far as my camote brain knows, bond yield is indirectly proportional to interest rate; so, if bond increases its value so interest rate decreases and vice versa. tama ba or talgang social climbing ekek lang ako? ang sure na alam ko is yung 0 valued bond like the government bond that would take time(forever) to mature, when it matures you’ll gain the interest accrued plus the value of the bond which by the way you bought it at a lower price from long time immemorial. por ehemplo bumili ako ng isang bond note na worth $100 pro $50 lang ibinayad ko pag dating ng 100 yrs ang worth ng bond na nabili ko is $100+interest accrued. my sukli cents lang.
