Right after matapos yong job interview ko sa Washington DC, karipas ako nang takbo to the Union Station. Pinapalitan ko yong ticket ko to an earlier sked para makarating agad ako in Philly. I was back in Philadelphia around past 4pm. From there, picked up my car, lipad na naman to Cherry Hill in New Jersey to meet up with friends. I headed over sa aking “my other wife”, si Merle nang SAF Travelworld.
We went to the Susquehana Bank Center.

Why? Me ticket ang reyna, sa concert nang Journey and I really wanted to hear Arnel Pineda live!
104, VIP seating! But of course! Reyna ako! Expensive ang taste at mahal ang maintenance! Kelangan kong pangatawanan ang kareynahan ko!
Nampucha pag-pasok ko, kala ko VIP talaga! Anak nang tonelada, 100 rows ata ang royal chair from the stage! Na-onse yata ako! Hmpt! Eto ang sight from my chair mga kunichiwa! Grrrr!
I warned them already na kelangan me katabi ako, otherwise, sino ang yayakapin ko pag kinanta ang Open Arms? Enter: Maxi. Avid reader ni Reyna. Student nang La Salle University in Philadelphia. Pag nasa library, nagbabasa nang Reyna Elena. Hehehe! I told her already: Warning: Reyna Elena is bad for your studies! Hahaha!

This used to be called The Twitter Center. Nakakatuwa ang itsura sa loob. Walang kurtina and everything is mano mano. Dahil nga me mga frontal acts hehehe, each group na mag-pe-perform have to bring their own baon. Piktapos, aalisin lahat yun mga kunichiwa at papalitan nang kani-kanilang operating machine at apparatus nang susunod na performer. All those mano mano hila hila could be seen by the audience. Nag-mistulang construction site ang stage. Bwahaha! Here’s one frontal act na nagustuhan ko mga kunichiwa
Unlike nang mga concert halls in Philadelphia, it’s more like round ang umiikot sa stage, where piktapos nang isang performer, ibababa ang curtain, iikot ang stage and voila – in a split second perform agad yung next band. Eto hindi, me humihila nang carpet, me karga karga yong pira-pirasong entablado which looks like some maze puzzle na sino-solve nila. Me humihila nang mga wires, me tumutulak nang piano! Naloka ako, akala ko nanonood ako nang Broadway! Les Miserables, as in miserable talagang tingnan! Hehehe!
Can u imagine na humahakot nang ganito kadaming audience ang Journey?! Pati parking lot, nag-mistulang barbecue party, the lawn wala kang malakaran, sa loob, uber-sardinas sa kapal nang tao! And seeing the Philippine Flag na wina-wagayway sa unahan? Priceless!
And the crowd roared in a multitude of hiyawan and tilian when Arnel came out!
I honestly feel very special and if you are Pinoy, you should be!
Sa daming kademonyohang nangyayari sa Pinas and you’d expect na maging role models ang mga putang opisyales dyan, mga walang ginawa puro kahihiyan to all of us. Yet, the likes of Charice and Arnel makes me uber uber proud not only as an American but as one true-bloodied uragon na Pinoy. It really makes me feel very especial, lalo na when Arnel shouts back in Tagalog to all his kababayans and those are truly music to my ears mga kunichiwa!

One thing I love about the American music crowd is talagang they’re into the music at talagang join sila ever sa community singing. Another song that’s a surefire crowd favorite na nag-mistulang Lupang Hinirang nang crowd!
Here’s my favorite. Everytime this song plays, I remember a lot of people who are very close to me. Minsan nagiging misty-eyed ang lola kasi na-alala ko ang aking madir, fadir and my former boss mike who have given me a lot of blessings in life. By the same token, nag-eemote den kaya ang mga former boylets ko with all the blessings na nabingwit nila saken?! Hmmm…
It was truly one hectic day and one amazing night and I know mai-inggit si Bluep nito to the hilts! From Philly to Washington DC to Camden, New Jersey. Talagang 28 years lang talaga ako, kahit na i-check nyo ang YouTube age ko! Hehehe!
And yes, we brought our own flag mga kunichiwa!
More WORLD PEACE to Arnel and any other Pinoy talent out there! I hope Arnel and Journey goes to Manila and have a show to all you guys out there!

magaling talaga sya blue and his voice is even better sa stage siempre merong exttra omphtt! hahaha! unlike other singers na pag-live na, iba na ang boses dahil yong mga records pala nila eh, tweaked lang pala sa studio! Arnel is the real thing and he’s much much better that the previous lead singers after Steve Perry!

I am crazy about Arnel Pineda I am back I remember when I was a teenager I used to be an avid fan of MENUDO a puerto rican boy group but now I am back to think I am older now and has a kid…I love the Journey band I love there music and style. I am from Cebu I will fly to Manila to see there concert. I am a no 1 fan of Journey I love you Arnel and more power and sucess to Journey…
