82% of Reyna readers are from the Philippines. Only 10% of which are from the United States and the rest are from all over the world. And so, to all my Pinoy readers back home, pagpasensyahan nyo na ho ang pag-eemote nang lola nyo and you might not be able to relate to me, but I hope you won’t be offended, if today, I celebrate my being an American. Dahil ang hindi raw marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay nadadapa, nabubungi at nagiging baklang panot na syokoy.
I’ve been here for over 20-some years at eto, unemployed! Punyeta! But, I knew I was American from that time na nagladlad ako nang kapa and tears started flowing down my face when I heard the song “God Bless America” (nasa sidebar). It strucked me, ang gu-gwapo pala nang mga sundalong merkano!

Pekeng Merkano man ako, pero feel ko ever ang pagiging Merkano. That was the day when “they” blew up the World Trade Center and my boss passed away. Mga hayup sila! Tangina nila! Eto, nagkaloko-loko buhay ko. I maybe a professional bum at the moment, but America gave me some of the most precious things in life that I enjoy. Ang makapaghada sa bundok nang tralala ehe! And this is what I am thankful about America.
Today is my day to pause and give thanks to Amerika. At sa lahat nang kapwa ko Pinoy sa Amerika na Corporate Slaves, buti pa kayo me sweldo. Ako wala! Waaaa!
Happy July 4th and….

di bale na dyan ka unemployed. kesa dito sa pinas unemployed. o di ba?
hahahaha. di magtatagal meron na ditong entrance interview. he he. oy, happy 4th of july. wag pakalango sa syoktong. hinay hinay lang. eh long weekend daw, masaya. dami din lasheng siguro.

Happy 4th of July, reynz! This is my second 4th of July may cook-out family ng husband ko sa house punta ka tau lang ang kakaiba at 1st time ko decorated backyard namin ng american flags syempre katabi ng philippine flag meron din red, blue & white ribbons, bird feeders, stars for the patio haaaaaaayyyyy sabi sa email ng boss ko celebrate our freedom this 4th of july and don’t forget the people who fight to have this freedom for this great nation welcome to the land of free home of the brave o di ba touching ever!

Manay Reynz, i’m a regular reader of Glo’s blog. that’s where i first “met” you. i posted a comment in her blog for you but i’m not sure if mabasa mo so i’m posting it here, to be sure.;D
sino tabi sa Balogo an Tito mo? ano tabi kay cousin mo sina Tita Susan (Paras)? actually, my surname is Paras coz my great grandfather (or great-great grandfather, i’m not so sure kasi inistorya na lang san Lolo ko sadto) was from China, pag-abot didi sa mahal nating bayan ng Sorsee, nagpabunyag para maging Katoliko, an naging ninong great-great grandfather nara Tita Susan.
kaya no blood relation kami but close man sinda nara Papa. an niece ni Tita Susan (si Zea, batit ni Tita Kiking), barkada/classmate san brother ko. an saro niya na niece (Lala Paras), classmate man san Ate ko sadto.
hope you can come home one day & see for yourself Sorsogon’s changes. maski papan-o igwa nin kamayadan amidst all the karautan. ;D

Sorsogon province is an under-rated beauty didi mismo sa lugar ta. not many Filipinos know of its hidden beauty. friends from Manila who were lucky enough to visit can’t get enough of our place.=D
if you have extra time tabi, do check out my old blog, there’s a post there (i think it’s the last post i did, haven’t updated after so long, nahugak na, hehe!) about a beautiful place (it’s a farm retreat, may bee sanctuary (they sell honey & charcoal), pond, lush vegetation, kagayon!) in Bulusan called Balay Buhay. it was featured daw by ABS-CBN when Gina Lopez was here last summer. if makauli ka tabi, magayunon didto mag-relax-relax.
another hidden paradise is in Brgy. Biton, Bulan aptly called, Ang Munting Paraiso (http://muntingparaiso.wetpaint.com/page/Photo+Gallery). i’ve been there five times na, but i always look forward to my next visit coz kagayon san lugar. definitely a paradise! =) sana talaga makauli ka man. baka this is the right time for you while wara ka pa new racket dida. what do you think? ;D

i visited the sorsogon web, medyo oldies na masyado ang website na yun, sana ma-upgrade ninda kung sino man ang owner nun but its nice. i’ll visit it more often.
