Let compassion ripple outward: People of Iloilo needs our help

I’m no Buddhist. But in their meditation, centered on compassion, it says:
Let compassion ripple outward
Feel warmth and love in your heart, think of all your friends, and feel yourself embracing them with your love and wishing them well. Then extend your love and warmth to people who protect you who don’t even know you - soldiers, volunteers, firefighters, police officers. Extend your love to them.
Then imagine people you haven’t met who have been hurt, who are suffering, and try to broaden your love to all these unknown people. People who lost their lives on MV Princess of the Stars. People who lost their houses and livelihood with Frank’s fury.

For WORLD PEACE, I dedicate my post today to Maldito, the families and friends who lost their love ones on MV Princess of the Stars and the people of Iloilo. The very place where my grandfather came from.

Thanks for spreading this kamahalan….I know we can surpass this tragedy….hope God can give me enough strenght to rebuild all that was lost from me.
But Im still thankful that even out things have been washed out, i still have a complete family I can spend with to start our lives all over again.
Thanks so much. Please help Iloilo stand again.

you will all be fine. samen sa Bikol, alam mo naman ang nangyari which i believe is even worst. ewan ko ba ba’t puro na lang trahedya and to think na pinahihirapan na nga tayo nang mga kurakot sa mundo, then eto pa!
