How else would you describe it?! Who will not get absolutely fired up angry when the truth about the whole damn thing is that Sulpicio Lines is nothing more than a sailing punerarya!!!
What happened off the coast of Romblon is plain horrible!!!. Yet, this was not the first time it happened. Remember the worst ever ferry disaster in the world? It’s the collision of MV Dona Paz with MT Vector near Mindoro and Marinduque in 1987 where almost 4,000 people died. Will these people responsible for the navigational rules ever learn? I guess not. Just like any other shit and crap that happens in the Philippines.
Did I say the accident was horrible? I think I did. Because what the Coast Guard is saying now is even more horrible. Their explanation? According to news reports that these kinds of ships are not covered by storm warnings issued by the weather bureau. HALLERRR!!! What about those people in the ship? And what’s this weather bureau for? Anong silbi kung meron pang weather bureau? Can we just call Madam Auring and let her be responsible for all the warnings?
My head is just full of questions. Tidal wave of questions mga kabisyo! How come no one ever balked at this stupid guidelines? How come these people think that MV Princess of the Stars eh isang darna that could ride through a typhoon? How come the skipper did not even bother for one freaking lonely godly second to think that it was a fucking typhoon?! How come this? How come that? How come why? How come there? How come all ye faithful! I am soooo angry! Just give me a penis right now!
Now, my friend emailed me through some article showing me the worst Sulpicio records which seemed to be lining up for the Guinness World of Records! Anak nang vagina ang mga toooooo!!!
1.) MV Dona Paz sank in 1987
2.) MV Dona Marilyn sank in October 24, 1988
3.) MV Princess of the Orient sank in September 1998
So, who is regulating the who and what and why? Sulpicio Lines is a sailing punerarya!!!

grabe talaga ang tragedy na ito, as in, i think just like you, kailangan ko rin ng PE..S, hihihi, parang feeling ko tuloy eh sinumpa ang Sulpicio Lines, ‘di pa naman ako nakakasakay sa kahit anong barko nila every, i heard from the news last night, na may mga modifications daw na ginawa sa barko nu’ng mabili siya para mas maraming ma-accommodate na tao, dahil sa greed, madalas napapahamak ang buhay ng mga inosenteng tao…huhuhu…

and i have to agree with ricky carandang on how insensitive sulpicio lines is. i happened to catch their first presscon but didnt bother finish watching it as they were just talking about fare, investments, and pagkalugi.

yeah, i just went to his site, thanks for the links. insensitive nga! uber! and all they talk is the loss of their ship?! noon pa yan and they still continue TO EVEN SELL TICKETS dahil wala pa naman daw formal na whatever! As in - you still have to wait for FORMAL SLAP IN YOUR FACE? halller? sa dami nang namatay? these people are simply unbelievable!

Yan na nga ang sinasabi ko. Dapat with the MV Dona Paz incident nawalan na sila ng license and yet naghihintay pa ng 5th time ata before their license gets revoked! Nakakagigil nga panoorin. And nakakahabag yung mga kaanak ng victims.

syempre pa, only in the philippines. no one follows safety precaution. yang sulpicio lines? pinagalitan daw kuno ni GMA ngayon. pero tignan natin, konting bayaran lang eh hindi naman ma su-suspend ang license nyan. kaya na nga ba, ayaw ko sumakay sa barko. ayokong mamatay ng nalulunod. di bale ng sa eroplano bumagsak (knock on wood!) at least doon siguro i will die with less pain and suffering. kaya mga pinoy…wag na sumakay. kahit tuloy ang biyahe, manatili sa mga terminal. walang safety precaution ang kahit anong transpo dito. we all ride at our own perils. karima-rimarim talaga!

walang kwenta ang coast guard dito..pati MARINA at ang buong MARINE Industry is one big basket of kurakots and manloloko.
We almost paid 32K sa apprenticeship ng kapatid ko.i’ve been worried for days. kase my younger bro was out at china sea when all these happened. he texted me na kung anuman mangyari…suot nya daw yung BLUE NAUTICA TSHIRT na bigay mo hahahha, takot kase baka di na daw namin sya makita or di ma-identify but i was freaking out to death kabisyo…it was scary…really.
and then came this news…imagine 800++ passengers and crew but only a fraction survived…i can imagine yung mga na-trapped sa loob. nakakalungkot.
in times like this, ansarrap magmura…bwiset talaga.

800+ is a lot at sa isip siguro nang hayup na sulpicio konti lang dahil they’re almost frigid sa nangyari at walang sinabi kundi yong loss nang ship nila. 800+ siguro is konting konti to them considering na mas marami pa silang dinali noong Dona Paz!
parehas lang tayo, news like this freaks me out. ang pangkin kong isa lives in ormoc city dyan sa area na yan at yung isa is also a seaman kaya pag news na mga ganito na ha-hayblad ako!
at napunta pala yung team nautica sa kanya hahaha

nakakalungkot, actually, nakakaiyak ang mga nangyari. ang matindi nito, kanya kanya na namang turuan, bistuhan, aregluhan at dikdikan. chika lang dito, chika lang duon sisihang walang katakot takot — sana naman ngayon may mapuntahan ng matino!

dapat sa sulpicio na yan ay noon pa pinatigil ang opration!!! walang halaga para sa kanila ang buhay ng kanilang mga pasahero, importante lang sa kanila ay pera. sana madaganan ang management sa pera nilang puno nang dugo ng mga naging biktima sa trahedya.

Nakakalungkot talaga ang nangyari. Sana yang Sulpicio na yan matanggalan na ng lisensya. Sus naman, sa dinami dami ng mga taong namatay dahil sa kapabayaan nila, nakakatulog pa kaya yang mga yan?!
I am from Romblon pero yung part na pinaglubugan ng barko ay malayo sa amin, 6-8 hours motorboat pa ang byahe. Naalala ko rin yung sa MV Doña Paz. Halos malapit din sa lugar namin yung pinag lubugan kasi sa gitna ng Mindoro at Marinduque yun.
