Meralco admits charging 11% systems loss

Last May 20, 2008, there was a paid advertisement on Philippine Star which blared, “Kinuryente ng Napocor ang Pangulong Gloria Arroyo!. Biro mo – sinabi nila kay PGMA na walang electric utility ang nagre-recover nang Systems Loss! At sabi pa nila na napakataas nang 9.5% Systems Loss nang Meralco. Sa katunayan, eto po ang Systems Loss nang First World Countries.”

Hindi sinabi sa ad kung sino sila. Pero, if you read the ad, medyo obvious na obvious naman ano po? Ba’t ba tayo magbabayad nang systems loss na yan? Just because they pay it in first world countries? Bakeet? Sa first world countries ba Php300 per day din sila?
First, let’s understand this one mga kunichiwa: What is systems loss? Dalawang type sya mga kabisyo.
Una. The non-technical or losses from pilferage. Eto yong mga jumpers dyan sa tabi-tabi na bigla na lang ba mag-so-shoot up ang kuryente mo. Have you been victimized nito? When I had my business in Espana mga kabisyo, I was paying Php23,000 monthly dati until me sumabit. Bigla syang nagging Php36,000 a month. Can you imagine kung ilang vibrators ang sinaksak dun?
Pangalawa. The technical or electricity that escapes from the distribution lines and transformers when power is brought to the customer. Of course, gagasto ka nang koryente to bring it to the customer dib a? Eto yon – hangga’t maikabit sa mga palasyo ninyo or kaya me nawasak na transformer and all that. Getz?
So now, am I mistaken na tong Meralco is a for-profit chuvalais? So, in essence mga kabisyo, yong mga ninakaw nang mga hudas na mahilig mag-jumper ever ever dyan sa dark corners of Metro-Manila gets charged to you. Those electricity naman na naka-ilaw sa kadramahan at ka-eklavuhan during Christmas chuvalais pati na yong mga uma-alpas sa distribution lines are also charged to all of us. Getz nyo yun mga kabisyo?
So, teka lang! Bakeettt? Bakit yong responsibility to police the electric magnanakaw eh napunta sateng mga customers when Meralso is FOR PROFIT?! Paki-iksplika nga Matil-duh! I don’t work for Meralco! Eh kung ganetch! Wez! Where is my Php300 per day?!
Now, Meralco admits charging 11% systems loss. 11%?! Halllerr! And we’re not even a first world nation? How much is the per capita nang US which is a first world? Around $44k a year? Ang Pinas? Php300 pesos per day. Do the chacha and you’ll know what I mean.
Hay naku mga kabisyo! Habang nakalinya ang lola nyo sa Ever para mag-bayad, ini-isa-isa ko yang Meralco charges na yan kung ano ano ang mga yan!!! I swear! Dapat, i-refund yong mga charges na yan ever! Grrr! I’m sure pag nabasa nila tong entry na to, puputulan nila ako nang kuryente! Hahahaha

alam nyo my isang pangyayari na nakakaasar sa dati namin tinirhan sobra pa sa 11 percent ang charge saamin at ang dahilan is marami daw nagnanakaw ng kuryente sa area na yun nacharge pa nga kami last june ng humigit kumulang 400 na system lost… aba kuryente lang dapat namin is 1200 kung wala system lost ah… huhuhuh

gab, di ba nga - yun ang indi ko ma-accept! ba’t ako magbababayad sa mga ninakaw na koryente? ba’t di nila iresolve kung pano ma-kontrol ang pagnanakaw instead na singilin yung matitinong customers? taz sasabihin mas mahal pa daw ang singil nang 1st world countries? di tama ata yun ah!

pero dati nung umuwi ako nakita ko bill namin sa kuryente 50% lang yong sa usage 50% kung ano-anong charges. Kaya kung usage lang talaga ang babayaran, bababa ng 50% ang bill.

Alam mo Reynz, I wasn’t paying attention to what I’m paying for dyan sa Meralco bill na yan. All I want to know is if the bill is higher now compared to last month’s. Ganyan lang. But when this brouhaha about the GSIS vs. Lopez came up, naku napatingin tuloy ako. Nakakaloka pala talaga yang systems loss! Sana lang magkaroon talaga ng refund.

maraming di nakaka-alam na yong mga ninanakaw na koryente is being charged sa mga customers. naku, dun sa antipolo sa sis ko wa knowing sila until na pinakita ko! hahaha! taz nagulantang sa mga binabayaran nila!

sana naman di ningas kugon ginagawa ng gobyerno sa meralco.. hindi panglilito sa taumbayan.. mukhang gusto lang kcing pagtakpan isyu ng gobyerno….kakainit ng ulo..sa bandang ibaba..hahha..whew….

pssst eto pa, karereceive ko lang ng readings, ayon sa aking psychic powers at tarot card, kaya pilit kinukuha ni winston garcia ng GSIS ang meralco dahil wala na sila maipambayad sa members ng GSIS. alam mo ba na they laid off some of their employees and their landline is only one line sa office dito sa amin. then every month 2K ang binabawas nila sa mga gov employees, pero di ka makakapagloan at di mo makukuha lahat ng ibinayad mo kahit magretiure ka pa. bakit?
kasi ginastos ni gloria pera ng GSIS noong last pres election.
lahat mga yan dapat binobomba. sa tooo lang. kaya ayaw ko na minsan magblog ng politics dahil di ako makapagpigil. baka ma=libel lang ako sa sobrang galit ko.
