Yeap! Got tickets, will travel! And I am always excited ever ever to go home. It’s the one place I will always call home although Philadelphia is also a sweet, sweet home but Manila is sweeter kahit na polluted air pa man ang langhapin ko. Those traysikel, busina nang jeepney, sigaw nang balut penoy are all music to my ears. Keri, di ba?

BISDAK ROOTS
I maybe uragon, but I love the South. My grandparents were from Jaro, Iloilo and I was told that my relatives dots Visayas and Mindanao and although we’ve lost contact with our relatives in Iloilo, I know that, that’s where we came from. One of these days, I will tell you the story of my grandfather’s brother who left Iloilo to look for us in Bicol. That was quite a story. Anyway, when I was in Davao, I’ve been meaning to call those listed on the white pages with the same surname as mine, nahihiya lang ako. In Bicol, we’re the only ones with our lastname.

MINDANAO
We also have relatives in Zamboanga City. I was there about 5 years ago, visiting relatives. I love that place, although I do feel weird when I see soldiers around since I am not used to seeing them. I have never been to Surigao City, although my cousin has been harassing me to go there. But Davao? In a heartbeat!!! Hahaha! I love this city and I love the people here! Probably, one of the most ever ever na friendliest cities I have ever been! How did I get to travel to Davao? Back then, I was working for WKAF (well-known accounting firm) in Makati and we happen to have several clients in the city. I frequent this city just like Cebu and Iloilo. It’s been years now and I am just excited as ever to see the changes.

DAVAO
Beng of Germany, Philippines na pala, sent me these pictures. At ngayon pa lang, naloloka na ako what to do and where to go!

Just look at this one. The Pearl Farm. Well, dapat lang di ba? Kelangan mapalitan na ang korona ko.

But I really, really love this one! Hahaha! Alam nyo na ang sirena, pag nakakita nang tubig, maligaya. Hehehe! I don’t know kung pano tumili ang reyna sa wild water rafting! Kelangan me gwapong sasagip saken! Hehehe!

Big time, this is what I miss - the music. Pinoys are just uber uber talented. What can I say. Si Malen na lang at si Ruthie and hindi pa nadi-discover. Kairita, tulog ako nung nagsabog nang singing talent si Lord.

Or maybe some diving! Halleeer! Sirena ako anoh?! Hahaha! I could do this without any trainor! Hmmm.. or maybe WITH a trainor. Yeah, I think that would be nice!Hehehe!

I am really excited to go home. I know, mabilis lang ang bakasyon na to. Dami ko kasing projects. But who cares? I can’t wait to see somebody! Hehehe!

    16. hooters philadelphia dito sa franklin mills which is close samen ay isinara. me mga lalaking nag-rally na nakapalda at me mga bulaklak sa tenga. mga maskulado ateng. nakakatawa. as in mapa-pa-bungakngak ka ever sa mga itsura nang mga lalaking nakapalda. indi naman nag-drag, basta nag-damit hooters. ang drama nila, hooters would not employ men kaya ayun. natalo ang hooters, pinalayas sa philadelphia, kaya andyan lang sila sa boundary sa labas nang city. then, nag-hire na rin sila nang men at boys. hahahaha! at ang gugwaaaapooooo!!! hahaha

    kung hindi lang ako maraming inaayos na mga papeles for some people, sana bininyagan ko na rin ang bago kong blue passport. i still have to get the brown passport mula sa ating embassy sa Washington DC.

    there is no place like home where people are warm and fun-loving who will lend you even their bottom peso. (wink)– where people do not forget to ask you. kumain ka na ba instead of the obligatory greeting here of how’re you today?

    as my sister who has travelled the world would say, Manila Bay sunset is still the most beautiful sunset in the world and mt. mayon which has the most perfect cone volcano in the world is still the most beautiful volcano that she has seen, i love a virgin beach in bicol– virgin because no tourists have ever set foot in its white sand. Priceless experience.

    siyanga pala, sigurado kang ayaw mo nang dive master sakaling mag scuba diving tayo? ikaw din…may pogi doon tsaka macho. kailangan pala lima tayo sa wild water rafting. price per head pala is two thousand. sa pearl farm naman ang kanilang day tour is only 1,500.00 pesosen inclusive boat ride, welcome drink pati na lunch tsibog. plus libre gamit ng pool, tennis at iba pa (nakalimutan ko na). scuba diving ang pinakamura 700 pesosen lang po per head. bring your own malalamon naman dito.
