That’s Legazpi City, Albay, ladies and gentlemen. Isn’t Mayon Volcano beautiful? You see, my niece who was born and raised in San Diego, just recently passed the NCLEX. She went to school in California of course. Bago daw sya mag-work, she wanted to see Barrio Siete. I said, huh?! You sure?! So, she is flying to the Philippines with my brother for the first time to see for herself just how lucky they were compared with our Barrio Siete life. And they’re headed to Sorsogon and Tiwi, Albay as well as of course in Legazpi City where most our village people lives. So, congratulations Jacqui and I am sure you will have a blast in the Philippines!
I’m also greeting my other niece/sister in sorority Karen, who was a professional student at the University of the Philippines then moved to Pamantasan nang Lungsod nang Maynila (nyetang haba naman nang pangalan na yan oo!) and finally graduated after being a forever school bum terrorizing everybody at PLM! Hahaha! I’m honestly happy that she’s finally graduating kasi I’ve been hearing she’s graduating mula pa noong panahon pa ni Gat Bonifacio!!!
Blatant ad mga kunichiwa! I just want to greet dahil nag-tatampo! O ayan! Binati ko na kayo! Grrrr!

i now remember ARIENDA. i have one barkada sa JPIA and i heard na lawyer na sya (babae) - classmate at barkada actually, although we lost contact nung I headed to the US. they live in either Rawis or Padang. ring a bell?

ay masarap ang pagkain sa albay! yung pinsan ko jan na-destino dati (nasa LA na ngayon—USA ha) and we visited him. mga 4 days kami ikot-ikot! masarap yung halo-halo sa tiwi ba yun? at ang crabs and prawns ever! yun nga lang, torture ang biyahe going there! pero masayang adventure!

you’re right about the halo-halo in Tiwi! sikat sila ever! hahaha! eh kasi my brother lives dun sa likod nang munisipyo and i go there when i get the chance - nakapag pyesta na kami sa tiwi and i have a lot of friends there. of course pati sa legazpi city.
