Moral righteousness: Filipina Image, Part 1

by reyna22 on April 16, 2008

If you noticed, I had no entry yesterday and I was late today. I was busy mga kabisyo. This time, not boylets. Pramis. I was reading some avocado blogs, sex stories, comments and watching some Youtube interviews. Considering that we are in the “hypocrisy issue week”, I thought this item that I was reading was extremely swak na swak with the point that I had just delivered in my previous entry. Who told me about this? Maxim. A new reader who stumbled into Reyna’s cinderella shoes. The interesting thing is that, a friend started a series on this one.

It’s all about some advocacy calling for “reshaping of the Filipina Image online”. Listen, I have gay friends who have image that have been re-shaped. But Reyna Elena as Filipina, I don’t care if there’s a 12 inch extra skin between my legs, I don’t want it reshaped. That’s why I was interested at the whole moral value angle if there is, of this story in regard to reshaping some Filipina image.

In a nutshell, there were three nuts… shells:

Mayen, Tim and the blogger. This is about Mayen, a Filipina and Tim, a married UK guy, who went online to find some love, run into Mayen, went to the Philippines to meet her, had sex, wham-bang went back to UK, Mayen got pregnant with alleged ectopic pregnancy, brought to some hospital, no money, calls Tim to pay for hospital bills, Tim did’nt pay, fear it was a scam, Mayen’s boss eventually pay, relationship over, Tim blogs sometime in October 2007, picked up by some blogger sometime in February 2008 – reshaping the Filipina image.

Follow this story:

Follow the links by “that” commenter. There’s a great deal of pages that you have to read. Plus the Youtube video and the link. I could tell you that something between my legs was reshaped reading Tim’s torrid story about some hands! Hehehe! But, you go find it! Hahaha Make sure, you read the follow up entry by the blogger. Try to visit other bloggers who wrote about them. I read “K”epoys (no link here). I read them all, just in case you guys test me.!

Read through them and answer my question:

  • Exactly, what Filipina image is the blog trying to promote with that story and the YouTube? Did you learn any moral lesson? And what kind of moral lesson that the blogger is trying to impart?!

These are your assignments mga kabisyo!! Come back here and teach Reyna some morality.

I’ve had my take during our conversation earlier. I’m no moralist whatsoever, my last hirit? It only adds more salt + alcohol + vinegar to the incision Mayen had.(pun intended)

reynz, i read it already before and i went to Cat and i like her take on it and i agree with her. there was nothing good about it for the fil image. SEO? i am computer programmer at deutche bank in nyc u know that and i don’t see any SEOism about it. the bloggers motive is too obvious at the expense of fil image thing. (yes this is the old christy sorry its been a long time just visiting now but just been lurking regards to bea, jc, c5 and all!)

Una sa lahat, na-miss mo ba ako, mahal na reyna? hehehe… Tagal ko ring di nakadalaw. Inatake kasi ako… ni tina(tamad)! hahaha

Anyway, SEO lang yan, kapatid. I’ve read it nga yesterday and I was about to tell you about it. Syempre pa may scandal na kakabit. Alam mo naman si Ginoong G00G di ba? Mahilig sa scandal at scam. Ayan syempre take advantage na! Hehehe

Dedma ka na lang, sisterette! Tignan mo naman at mas pinagpapala ang mga na-reshaped na may something between the legs! Hahaha ano ba yun?! :D

Namiss ko magbasa dito. Makagala nga muna dito sa loob ng palasyo mo :)

Christy,
great to see someone who understands SEO because the meat of the blogs lies on the claim of that campaign.

those who are not aware of the project launched in 2005 will not see how the story runs counter to the mission of the advocators.

To put the issue in a simpler analysis. it is just like washing linens to make it white but instead of using soap, she used mud.
