Do you dress for success?

This entry will give you a little secret about me. At least, it should give you an idea of what to give me as a gift! Ready? Hahahaha! I was never really an office fashion conscious kinda guy until I started working in Princeton, New Jersey. You see, most of my officemates there are graduates of Ivy League. I’m not an Ivy Leaguer, but you tend to be influenced on the good side of course, especially if you have a boss who is good looking, cute, intelligent and really nice. I don?t dress like a bum. bts9583_rx2.JPG However, it was not good enough for my boss, my boss whom I love very much. One time he yelled at me like, ?Where is the rock concert you?re going?!? He was so annoyed at my Barrio Siete costume! It was not even halloween! If I was not cute, promise, he would have fired me! I was laughing at him! Since then, I followed his advice. Dress for success. Well, I don?t know if I was successful then and is successful now, but one of the things that changed with the way I dress was the use of cufflinks. Mike, my boss, even gave me sets of Unique Cufflinks. bts9143_rx2.JPGIt?s different when you wear cufflinks. It kind of sets the tone of your fashion and it brings out the professional aura in you. For some reason, when I am dressed like this, I tend to kind of tone down my perky behaviour and act like a truly successful person. At least on the surface. Do you agree? Now you know what I want as gift. Send them in! Don’t be shy! Hahaha!!!
