Transfer high interest credit cards to lower interest credit cards
One of the best debt management I did in the last five years was balance transfer. What I did was shop for best credit card deals that offered balance transfers with lower interest rates. Essentially, it lowered my monthly credit card payment. But there?s one more thing that I did. I did not change my payment at all! I continued to pay my credit card company with the usual monthly credit card payment I normally do even though my monthly card payment has now gone way low. Obviously, there was extra payment I was making a month. They then applied that payment to the principal thereby reducing my balances. It was a great way to eliminate credit card debts.
