Before anything else pala mga kabisyo, my condolences to Malen, I heard from Pusa that Malen’s aunt just passed away! I’m very sorry to hear this kabisyo!!!

You are looking at a section of the busiest highway in Philadelphia. This is the I-95, with the city’s skyline in the background mga kabisyo. I woke up very early yesterday (6:00am) and was on the highway singing my way to work when I got stuck in a 4 hour traffic of my life! It was very difficult to navigate the backroads of Philadelphia because everywhere is a bottleneck. Buti na lang kamo, nagmukha akong ahas ang was able to find a way to get to New Jersey, which by the way, is going East and not South to the city. It was a very circuitous drive all the way to I-295 in New Jersey and back to Philadelphia via Walt Whitman Bridge. The whole drive took me forever with bumper to bumber traffic all over the place! It was one of the craziest days in my life but nothing beats when I used to work in Princeton and the Delaware River got flooded and I was stuck in Trenton, New Jersey for 8 hours on the highway!

You see, they closed I-95 immediately when they found this jagged crack that had grown from about a half-inch wide and four feet long last October to two inches wide and eight feet long. According to the authorities, weather had apparently forced concrete to separate from the steel reinforcing bars in the pillars, which could be seen, exposed and twisted. Sizable chunks of broken concrete were found at the base of the pillar.

TODAY? I’m headed to New Jersey side again to go to work in Philadelphia.
