Ah basta! Kelangan magkita tayo sa May pag-uwi ko kundi tatakbo akong first woman president sa barangay ninyo at ipapabarangay kita pag di kita nakita! Hmpt! hehehe!

I have one more theory on all of these – especially the poor voting all the artista because their only hope now is simply fantasy kaya they vote mostly on artista because that’s the closest they get to having a government that will help them better their lives.

Now here’s my theory: “Politicians would rather leave poverty as it is because they need them.” Sounds familiar? Isn’t it that the street theory about the drug problem in America is not to solve it so that politicians have some campaign drama? I might be wrong. But then again, who’s solving poverty in the Philippines?

nina, i couldn’t agree with you more. i think more than anything, this is what a lot of other filipinos are feeling. they’re being torn between the opposition and the administration, and yet the real problem isn’t really in the division but in the process of every system. i hate to say this also, but sometimes i want to ignore the incessant cries of “patalsikin si gloria” only because i am not hearing anythign new. i want somethign new. we need something new. like that moral reformation that carlos celdran was talking about.

thing is, who will bring that about? i doubt din it would be from either parties. UNLESS someone swallows his pride and concedes for the sake of what’s left of the coutnry’s nationalism. grabe, sobrang apathetic na nga ng marami sa atin, yung ibang nakikinig naman, wala ng pinapaniwalaan.

so this isnt just about raising placards and shouting “gloria resign”. i think we bloggers, for example, know better than that. we must call for changes in our deeply entrenched practices and transparency as well. there are organizations out there that are doing just that. bakit di nalang natin ibuhos ang efforts natin to support them? i think with loud enough a voice, it will make a difference.

I appreciate your opinion. I do agree on what you say:

Yes we really should, However, what is the truth? how do we know which side is the right one? I am not taking sides or anything like that. My only point is that “We Cannot put all the blames on all of the corrupt politician that got elected because this whole thing started the moment someone voted for them.” I am not saying that nasusuhulan lahat ng tao sa pinas. I never said that, but we have to understand every single vote counts.

Regarding GMA and FPJ issue, I try not to say anything about the past election. I am not in favor of both for issues I could not even explain here because it will be too long. Me dayaan man o wala, but in the end someone was named the President of the Philippines. Whether the pinoy like it or not she was named. Now, to what you said that “HIndi pupwede yung sinasabi mo na nagrereklamo ang pilipino sa kanilang binoboto.” I never said that nor imply that notion.” All I said is that we cannot blame a corrupt politician for being like what they are because “SOME” not all choose money over the right decision. Oh yeah, I also did not say that people should not voiced out their concern, cause in my books more power to people who voice what they are fighting for.

I respect your comment, but I just have one concern you quoted me ?Ang hindi ko lang maintindihan is that bakit sinisisi natin and mga nakaupo sa pwesto, when we literally voted for them.? I believe there is a second sentence that was attached to this sentence.

And Yes Glitch, you are correct poverty is the reason why “SOME” pinoys sell their vote. And yes high poverty is becuase of corrupt politician. And the cycle begin.

And Reynz, I will not be mad at you for disagreeing with me because you are right. But please tell me how many people did really listen to the politician debate? nor understand what the platform of goverment of every politician? And how many people choose a candidate because he/she was an “Artista”?
