ADDRESS TO THE NATION

Kunichiwaa mga kabisyo! Dahil nga I’m one very pretty Kontador Publiko and given my experience with WKAF (Well Known Accounting Firm) in Makati as an auditress, it has always been my attitude to trust but verify. So, my role in this contest is to make sure that this contest is fair and square, transparent and clean, not only to the participants and judges but also to Vacklingham Palace to maintain any sort of integrity and credibility in holding future beautiful contests. Besides the fact that I refuse to be identified as just another Blog Award chenalyn that hands over chienes to their chuva friends only, so I am careful otherwise, there won’t be any reason for me to run as the first woman president of the Philippines in 2010.

Yet, with only 4 participants, I was just simply flabbergasted mga kabisyo with the overwhelming support we all received from all corners of the blogosphere! In the history of Vacklingham Palace, this was truly the most ever ever super-uber social climbing that we have done! Conservatively, I’d say that we’ve been pretty successful. So, thank you especially to Beng whom I stole the winning logo and the many, many flying voters who joined all the fun ever ever together one another forever!

For one thing mga kabisyo, at least they seem to be one in acknowledging na talagang bulok na bulok na ang kalagayan naten with so much in your face kurapsyon. As a matter of fact, brin-owt up pa nila ? pero hindi ki-nwestyon ? ang moral ascendancy chuvalais of the present government chenalyn na wala sila nun ever ever. Read: me krisis yong mga tiga Pasig river nang morality. Duh! As if hindi alam nang sambayanang ayaw na ring mangumpisal dahil di ba me mga pari na yumari din nang hmmm… wag na lang! Ibang isyu yung lumuhod! Hehehe! Kaya, may I call sila nang nang emergency meeting mga kabisyo ? not to call on Gloria Arroyo to resign but essentially asking Gloria to take the lead in stamping out corruption.

EEEEK! SANTISIMA PORBIDA POR DYOS POS SANTO! ANO KAMO?! SI GLORIA? SYA ANG UNA PRIMERA NA MAGTURO SA PINOY ABOUT HOW TO GET RID OF KURAPSYON?!

If there was ever a law passed in our own turn world kawntri which I was tres tres happy about, it’s this wag kang kukurap else barangay tanod ka ever ever! An sabi: kung sinumang government official convicted of kurapsyon will be sent to one great first class golf country club in a V8 SUV. Which is why nakalaboso ever yong dating presidente eh kasi ba naman, ginawang Boracay Beach yong iskinita nang New Manila noh! But why, o why! o why! Pina-alpas nya o why! o why! And maybe all the Y’s have some obvious answers by now. Pag di nyo pa na-getz, ewan ko na. Great law! Palpa-keyshus enforce-shunesyhus. Back to zero. Irrelevant yong batas na ginawa.

WALA NANG NATITIRANG LIDER SA BANSA

I have a very high regard for the former President Fidel V. Ramos. To me, he was one of the few leaders that emerged from all of the rotten political trapos in our own turd world kawntri. He’s not Lee Kuan Yew, but I admired him for what he has done. It wasn’t much, kase he wasn’t able to build an expressway from Manila to Bicol para man lang madaanan ang Barrio Siete namen para easy ang pag-rampa ko. Yet to me, he was the best so far.

But I disagree with his insinuation here:

As of 2006 mga kabisyo, official figures have it that around a tenth of the country’s population or 8.23 million work and live overseas. Majority of them, 3.6 million are in the United States and Canada. The Middle East accounts for 1.8 million, 1.2 million in Asia and the rest are in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The twist of this migration mga kabisyo is that fact that, one of these days, every number one in any larangan of anything that we can be proud of will be a Pinoy talent. Didn’t you notice that everywhere you turn, there’s one Pinoy talent on top of the world?

When I was still young and restless and one breath-takingly good-looking macho pretty barrio lass dun sa Barrio Siete, parati ako nun nan-la-lass-lass nang mga tungero because lahat ata nang aso sa barrio namen were labeled asong ulol just so ma-asocena nang mga gago. To this day, I remember vividly kung pano nila hinataw yong aso ko, tinira sa ulo, chugi at pinulutan nang mga hudas. Since that day, I declared war on those people na ginagawang sardinas ang aso. Di naman sa super uber animal activist ang lola wala rin akong intensyon to join the Fight For Fish Rights noh?

Believe it or not, it’s a lot easier to start your own successful business in the Philippines, compared noong panahon. True, medyo mahirap mag-start with all the lagay na gagawin ninyo, pero, let’s not let them win na mawalan tayo nang pag-asa to start our own. Di ba?

It’s about 9:00pm now here in Philadelphia, 02/16/2008. I just finished wrapping up my Usapang Pinoy entry, had dinner and enjoying my smoke outside. Three (3) doors to my right, is a couple who have just moved in a couple of months ago. The guy is good-looking who is probably in his late 20’s or early 30’s. He has a big truck and from what I could see, he must be a construction guy. He’s got nice build and I have seen him shirtless washing his truck outside. (One of these days, I am going to take a picture of him! Trust me!)
