I received an exploding email today from one irate reader and I was really - really embarassed!!! Hahahaha! Here I am, teaching some social climbing skills and I cannot believe that he’s not on my blogroll list when he linked me up many months ago! Bastos ko ano?!
Well, my apologies and kisses were accepted and he’s on my list now.
Having done that, I realized - you know, it’s plain courtesy and respect to the other blogger that if he recognizes your presence on the net that you have a blog and lists you down on his links and blogroll, it’s plain - common and simple that you bestow him the same courtesy. Unless of course the other party doesn’t care. In any case, it’s one of those easy and simple social climbing skills that I took for granted! Hahaha!!!
Now, to be consistent, I cleaned up my blogroll. I decided to follow one very simple rule that I learned from my reader.
I will delete dead links unless they link back. Nothing negative, just some basic courtesy. Unless of course, I go nuts and bananas with your entries and so therefore, you shall be etched not only on my blogroll but also in my ass. Ipapatatak ko yan kahit walang counter links from you.
Now, should you find your blog missing on my blogroll - do harass me with spam mails until you see it listed there!
For now, let’s keep the social climbing alive!!!

I actually have a reputation among my readers for giving back copious amounts of link love. I pretty much put anyone in my growing links page if they link me. I’ve NEVER ONCE asked ANYONE to do a link exchange. What happens is… when I see an incoming link from someone’s blogroll… I check the site out and almost 90% of the time, I’ll probably put them on my links page. It’s no big deal to me to return an act of kindness.
Actually, I’m currently preparing a special entry… celebrating 2000+ comments milestone… where I list each person’s name who has ever submitted a comment on my blog. Approx. 500+ people were responsible for those 2000 comments. (The reason why I moderate all my comments is for this purpose… so that e-mail addresses, names, etc. are accurate… so that mistakes/typos doesn’t skew results of plugin.)
Of course, you’re in the above list… because you’ve commented on my site before.

I do the same thing really and honestly, I don’t care if they link me or not, they will be on my blogroll should I find their blogsites titillatingly crazy and insane or that it’s a good content. It doesnt matter to me, but I did not know that there’s one where it’s a big deal and I gotta respect that.
I’m not done organizing my blogroll as I will be transferring some of my blogline links in there.

nung bored ako at walang magawa kundi ang magilusyong jowa ko si Derek Ramsey, hinalughog ko ang sanblogospheran para icheck kung sino ang mga naglagay sa akin sa blogroll nila. Minsan kasi hindi din nila pinapaalam, akala yata may fee at maniningil ako. hahahaha!

Noong nag start pa lang ako, panay ang exchange links ko. Siempre para mapromote ang blog. Nagsawa din ako tapos sila na nagtatanong. Tulad ng sabi mo, yung iba dead link na nga at dapat ng alisin sa listahan hehe. Salamat nga pala at ni-link mo din yung pinoytek ko. Godspeed.
