Naku! Hiindi ko nga pinanood ang mga balita at all sa sobrang “feeling heroic” ng media. Pinauutos na nga sila ng mga otoridad na umalis na’t hayaang asikasuhin nila ang pag-aaresto kay Trillanes pero hindi, scoop kung scoop daw, exclusive videos kung exclusive videos ang drama. Tapos, may isang reporter nakisawsaw, chinuchu kay Trillanes na papasugod na ang militar sa hotel (eh bakit ka nakikialam aber?).
Anyway, kaya The Peninsula ang pinasok ni Trillanes kasi alam nilang hindi ito gagalawin ng gobyerno. Nakakahinayang sugurin at pagbabarilin ang isang 5-star hotel.

that’s a valid question. Tanga nga ang ibang kababayan natin. alam na may kaso na, ibinoto pa. Kaya lang kumandidato si trillanes ay para makalaya. Ang katangahan ng mga bumoto,alam na nasa kulungan, ibinoto pa. nasa batas na kahit manalo ka election, basta may kaso ka prior to your candidacy, kulong ka pa rin.Ako di ako nagpauto. 3 lang ata binoto ko na senador. yun dalawa napilitan pa ako iboto dahil sa benefit of the doubt. pero wala din. mga balasubas din after ng election. kaya sa susunod na election. blanko at guhit lang ang ilalagay ko sa balota ko. bumoto ako pero wala ako binoto. dahil parepareho silang anak ng tipaklong!

Trillanes is a rebel and a traitor to the Republic. Plain and simple. Trying to overthrow the government is TREASON. No matter how awful I think Bush is…I don’t plan to overthrow him. Revolutions are undergone through elections and not armed uprisings. I am glad that the Filipino people have finally politically matured and seen how Trillanes would probably be no better off than GMA. The Devil you’ve got is better than the Devil you don’t.
But, arresting the media is a bit too much. Also a curfew was a bit too much too. I mean the call center industry alone works all night. It’s really stupid to do that.

Ok lang sana yung curfew since 5 hours lang naman. Para sa kaalaman ng iba, tapos na po yun. Follow up lang kasi baka may nakapuslit na magdalo o kung sino man. Kaso ang sistema nila mali, dapat duon pa lang sa manila pen controlled na. kaso kasi parang pista daming usi. pati mga pulis wala sa ayos. kaya hayun pati mga media, mga usi dinampot para kilalanin kung sino ang magdalo. hello naman, me magdalo bang babae at pati mga babaeng media dinampot at gawing suspects! A Soap Opera that Keeps Playing Over …and Over … and Over again – CNN

I remember reading a book titled ‘Chasing Daylight.” It was a true to life retrospect common sense guidebook on how to seize the moment. A very enlightening read that stirs the human spirit. So yesterday, I thought I’d go find the book and review it again.
Before I get to even open the bookcase the phone rang it was my mother-in-law in Manila. She sounded frantic her voice jerky as she narrates to me the mutiny happening at a Makati Hotel. She talked about 5 minutes straight. A step by step scenario of the drama taking place. In hearing this, all sorts of emotions overwhelm me. I felt distressed, then bewildered, upset and frustrated. I say to myself… “Come’on Philippines….again?” We have yet to decipher the pardon of Estrada, the verdict of the Oakwood mutiny, the inutile plunder case against the Marcoses and the sense of People Power 1 and 2 and the countless uprising and bickering in government and here we go again. Is our country so lame for us to keep on hammering our heads with idiocy? Was I glad that I live in Singapore and is spared of this chaotic, whimsical stunt? Every thing seemed in slow motion as I placed the phone receiver down and went to the t.v. to search for news about what’s happening in Manila. In my mind I was thinking, here we are advocating http://www.goodnewspilipinas.com and I’m starting to feel exasperated of our country. Is our country hopeless, moreover preposterous? Given the headline of CNN, are we beginning to look dim witted (if not already) in the eyes of the world? Are we aware of the repercussions of this futile episode? The effects of it on tourism, business investments not to mention Filipino morale?
As soon as I got a news over load of the Makati Siege Breaking News on CNN, I decided to go back to the bookcase and look for my book “Chasing Daylight.” It did dawn on me that I had tasked myself to look and review the book for that day. I opened the bookcase and there it was. I dare miss the book as it was the only one slack from all the books that were piled properly. Not sure if I intentionally segregated the book or whether a divine moment is tapping my spirit.—Chasing Daylight…hope some times wanes but should not vanish. And while selfish acts may intervene and preclude the interest of the many, the expectancy of good remains—hope. . You’re here to be light.
I had specially asked our editor to make an exception to publish this write-up. I know our site http://www.goodnewspilipinas.com is supposed to stand by our ‘no politics. no religion’ policy. But I just had to vent out some sort of action. -“The next time the people act together in a people power type uprising, they would ensure that it would be by themselves and for themselves.” And NO… we are NOT dim witted, NOR are we lame people….but YES, we are a fragmented society with no vision and clear direction, desperate to stay alive yet continues to dig its own grave. Therefore, to all selfish, dense individuals out there (specially in government) who have no business other than to forward their own self interest, we say… stay out of the way…. we are building a nation.
Philippines let’s get our act together! Come on…we just can’t let this Soap Opera play forever.
IDEAS TO GET US GOING.
1) We Filipinos should get rid of our ‘soft forgiving culture’
Learn the values and limits of democracy!
2) Our laws should be unforgiving with lots of teeth and claws!
3) We should mandate a subject on civil responsibility from grade school to high school.
4) Control our population
5) Spread business centers across the nation
6) Pay government employees properly
7) Pay government officials like top executives
9) Set clear goals and objectives with timelines per government agency and make sure it is achieved. Dismiss people if it they are not achieved!
10) Create a monitoring council for every agency headed by student leaders, religious orgs and civic orgs.
11) Let all government employees sign a civil duty order of single offense automatic dismissal policy. Monitoring council to enforce.
12) Create more libraries across the nation with state-of-the-art technology
13) On a small scale create a module city as model showcase of the future Philippines .i.e. Paranaque or Taguig….full force government support to this model city……create good, state-of-the-art public school, library, excellent government service i.e. garbage, excellent local government service agencies and institutions.
14) Mandate educational programming on television
15) Have quick wins that the masses can experience feel and relish…
16) Create educational centers in every barangay where kids and tambays can go to learn and be more productive
17) Central computerization for all govt agencies
18) Create a counseling center for every barangay.

Pinahiya niya ang bansa natin. Dapat ng i-exile pa siya sa Pilipinas dahil sa kabulastugang ginawa niya e. Hay, tayong mga pilipino, para ng mga cartoon charaters.. SObrang natawa at na-wirduhan ako snung napanood ko sa news na pinasok ng tangke ang manila penn! Ahahaha! Tayo lang ba ang nakagawa nun? Ahahaha!
Natatawa lang ako. PEro naiisip ko din minsan na sana hindi na lang ako naging pilipino kung ganito din lang. Nakakahiya e. Sana naman this time, maging strict na ang gobyerno sa pagpapatupad ng batas. Nasan na nga ba si will smith, yung rapist na amerikano? Bakit pinalaya si erap kung talagang guilty siya? Bakit laging pag nasakay ako ng jeep, tumitigil sa quiapo at nagbibigay ng pera sa mga bantay dun na nakasuot ng shirt na may nakalaga na “City hall of Manila”?
Kay Trillanes naman, sana man lang naisip niya na hindi lang puro ALAB NG DAMDAMIN ang pinaiiral. Minsan kelangan mo din mag isip. O baka naman, ginagamit niya lang ang kudeta dahil siya mismo sabik sa kapangyarihan??
Sa mga kamag-anak, at lahat ng sumosuporta kay Trillanes, MAHIYA NAMAN KAYO. Si trillanes at ang grupo niya ang nagkaladkad sa kahihiyan ng bansa natin.
Tayong mga Pilipino, parang wala ng nagustuhan presidente. Lahat yata ng presidente gusto natin patalsikin e. Lahat yata nakikitaan natin ng butas e. Sa mga welgista, isipin nyo, KAYO KAYA ANG MAMUNO SA BANSA NATIN? Tignan ko lang kung makayanan nyong makinig sa lahat ng problema at kung maging perpekto ang bansa natin!
Tao din ang presidente natin. Nagkakamali. Hindi din naman ako kampi kay Gloria. Wala akong kinakampihan. Ang akin lang, bakit kelangan natin pairalin ang pansariling hangarin palagi? Minsan naiisip ko, ano kaya ang mangyayare kung lahat ng pulitiko sa bansa natin ay magka-isa? Yung mga tumutuligsa ba sa gobyerno,nasubukan na ba nila suportahan si Gloria sa proyekto nito? Sa bagay. Baka nga ni hindi man lang nila naisip na suportahan si Gloria dahil puro paghahanap ng butas ang inaasikaso nila..
Kay trillanes at sa mga tumutuligsa na nandaya si Gloria sa eleksyon, ano kaya ang maisasagot niyo kung tanungin ko kayo ng “Buong buhay niyo ba, hindi kayo nandaya o nagsinungaling? Buong buhay niyo ba, hindi kayo nakagawa ng kasalanan?”
Sa mga panahong ganito, lalo kong kinakahiya ang pagka Pilipino ko. Wala ng ginawa ang mga pulitiko natin kundi magbangayan, magsisihan, magpa-bida-han… Sana maisip nila na hindi welga ang solusyon sa problema. Makarining sana, lalo na ang unibersidad na nagtuturo sa mga estudyante nila na pumunta sa welga. Hindi welga ang solusyon. Hindi pag-salungat sa gobyerno ang solusyon.
Subukan niyo kayang gastusin ang pera niyo at ibuhos ang pagod niyo sa pagtulong sa mahihirap kesa nilalaan nyo yan sa walang kwentang welga nyo? =)
Trillanes, wag kang pasikat. hindi lang puro alab ng damdamin ang pairalin mo. Mag-isip ka din.. =) Kung tatangalin mo si Gloria sa posisyon niya, sino ang iuupo mo? Vice president? Mukang hindi. Sa tipo mo, mukang gusto mo iupo sa posisyon ang sarili mo. Ahahaha.
Sana naman, yung mga unibersidad at eskwelahan na nagtuturo sa mga estudyante nila ng umatend sa welga ay matauhan. Hindi laging welga ang solusyon sa problema. hindi pagsalungat ang laging solusyon. Naturingan pa naman kayong matatalino, ganyan kayo mag-isip.
