I had another EB meeting with another blogger. It’s with Ms. Salve Duplito, the Business Editor of the Inquirer.net, who is the face behind the blog, Money Smarts.
We were orginally going to meet in Makati on Wednesday, but given her schedule, we changed it to a Thursday. I’m so glad she changed the Makati place to Trinoma on Thursday because it was raining insane on that day! Yon bang parang ang boung Pasig River eh bumukas sa taas! I have not seen that kind of rain in many years!!!
In any case, sakay nang taxi, who has no idea kung nasaan ang Trinoma – we ended up going towards Sta. Lucia Mall on Aurora Blvd., past Marikina, which to me is nowhere getting us to Trinoma! Gusto ko nang ingudngud ang taxi driver lord!!! Buti na lang kamo, napadaan kami sa LRT2 Station kaya nag-LRT kami to Cubao and took the MRT to Trinoma. Late pa rin ang lola nyo nang 1 hour!!! Mabuti na lang napakabait ni Salve at nag-tyagang maghintay sa reyna!
Eh kasi naman, I already told her na punit punit na ang basa kong kapa, eh ikaw ba naman, sasakay sa MRT na parang sardinas. Eh ano pa nga ba ang mangyayari sa kapa mo, di ba? At dahil na nga sa lakas nang ulan, natunaw lahat nang aking maskara at baka di nya magustuhan ang anyong kinalabasan.
Akala ko talaga, babae ka!
Natakot ako. Dahil Bicolana, feel ko baka bigla akong bigwasan at layasan ni Salve dahil sa pang-gogoyong ginawa ko! Humingi ako nang kapatawaran. Looks like pinatawad nya naman ako sa hagalpak nyang tawa! Hehehehe!
We met at Cafe Breton, a cute little cafe at Trinoma where I had “La Pinay”. It’s crepe with mangoes and vanilla ice cream on top. O, laban kayo? Tugma di ba?

We had some nice small and long talk on what else, the Philippine economy, the rising peso, the sub-prime crisis in the US at . . . kung gano ako ka-ganda.
These are my priceless prizes in blogging ladies and gentlemen. Meeting important people like Salve para feeling important na rin ang lola nyo. Ako pa naman na I really love meeting people and friendship ever kaya enjoy ako sa mga EBng to. At dahil nga busy si Salve, it’s more than a privilege na ma-accomodate ako sa crazy schedule nang Daragang Magayon na to.

mabait si Salve atcheng! write mo sya and very accommodating kamo, kahit na bumabagyo, kahit na di na makaalpas mga saskayan sa Edsa, kahit na puro deadline ang nasa mesa nya, she will find time ang place kamo to meet you!

nahiya nga ako sayo! wala na yong kapa, napunit sa LRT at sa grabeng bohus nang ulan, it’s as if, pinipigilan akong masilayan ang kagayonan mo! hehehe!
