Ayala to Trinoma: Another EB Event

As you might have known by now, we had another EB in Lucena City, over at bluepanjeet’s house. Malen has already blogged this one in detail here: Up Close and Personal with Reyna Elena, Part III. Now, that was a 4-hour drive from Alabang. You know why? Eh pano ba naman yong navigator nameng si Ambo ganito magbasa nang directions:

Ayun, inabot kami nang kidlat at kulog sa daan. Indeed, the meeting was short dahil by the time we got to bluep’s house, a little over an hour, it was about time to leave dahil nga I have a flight to catch in the morning. I was meeting another friend in Zamboanga City.
Unfortunately, sa grabeng drive ever, pag-gizing ko in the morning, sama ever nang pakiramdam aketch, I have no clue kung anong itechiwang sumanib saken at an sasakit nang mga katawan ko. Ba’t nag-kaganun eh hinihintay kong i-manhandle ako ni Ambo, taz wala namang ginawa? Sino ang nag-mandhandle saken? Si Malen? Hmmmm…
Instead, I called an avid reader from Ayala if she’s available for coffee. Indeed she was. So, may I drive ang lola to Ayala. Di ko na sasabihin kung sino. She prefers to be anonymosity daw. Ever. Fine. We had coffee at Greenbelt and chatted about almost anything under the sun. It was really nice meeting her.

My friend drove me to Makati and I decided that I was going to take the MRT so I could take pictures and show off naman sa mga ignoramusity kong mga officemates who have no clue whatsoevah na our LRT/MRT systems are far better than what we have in Philadelphia. Actually, they have no clue ever na meron tayong LRT. Bummer! Pagdating ko nang Ayala Station, sinita ako nang hudas na gwardya sibil! EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Labasan nang mga office workers and I had no clue na super-sardinas ever ang linya and even ang pagsakay sa MRT. Naligo yata ako nang pawis ever. Wala pa namang gwapo sa paligid kkkooooo! Pagdurusa ever tooooo!
Where am I headed?
I got a suprise call earlier from another blogger who is in town. Sya po si Ross who is based in Italy. Tinawagan na nya pala si Bea who was also on her way to Trinoma, our meeting place. Can you believe this? Things really happen for a reason. Maybe this was the reason why I wasn’t able to fly to Zamboanga! I just met an avid Reyna reader earlier and here I am, about to meet two bloggers who frequents Reyna.

This was also my 1st time to Trinoma. It looked like a really nice mall and pretty accessible via the MRT. So, it was just a perfect location for all of us to meet, although Ross still has to travel from Las Pinas to here, and Bea was just right around the corner.
We head over sa Gerry’s Grill where we had dinner. I’m telling you, it’s really nice to meet your fellow blogger. Bea works for a publishing company who’s in charge mostly of strategic management, launch planning and all that. Akala ko talaga, nagbebenta lang sya nang yosi sa tapat nang building nila.
Si Ross naman is one big-time researcher focused on up and coming technology which is more aligned with environmental concerns. Akala ko naman ki Ross, naglalako lang nang mga handbags! hehehe! Na-shock ang lola nung nalaman kong mga mabibigat pala ang mga to! Tameme akooooo!!!

grabeh reyna, hataw ka talaga!!! di ba sabi ko sa’yo pag rush hour, kakaloka sa MRT. sa tingin ko mas okay pa ang kalagayan ng sardinas!!!

hayup ang MRT pag labasan na! grabeeeee!!! as in kawawa mga gurls! mga lalaki lang nakikipagsiksikan eh panu ang mga ladies at women? kaka-lukrei ever!
i mean, if you work here, tapoz commute ka lang by MRT/LRT, naku bagu ka makarating sa opiz, duguan ka na. worst, magkano kita mo sa pamasahe??? understand ko ever ang hirap nang work nang mga tao here. feel ko talaga sya, kaya i have a lot of respect sa mga nagtatrabaho dito, can you imagine ang mga dinadaanan sa ganitong panahon? at least nung panahon ko, ala pang gaanong trapik na dinadanas nila. grabe ever! how they do it, like malen, i have no clue talaga!!!

‘Man causes disturbance at MRT

MANILA, Philippines – Metro Rail Transit commuters at the Quezon Avenue station in Quezon City were caught in a commotion at rush hour yesterday morning when a man began shouting at the top of his voice, sending jitters throughout the transport facility.
The still unidentified man allegedly shouted incoherent phrases at around 7:15 a.m., prompting passengers to head to the exits in panic. Several passengers were hurt as crowds jostled and pushed their way to the stairs.
Lysa Blancaflor, MRT public relations officer, said they suspect the man was a pickpocket who wanted to get away or else was impatient about queuing up.
The man who caused the disturbance fled immediately during the commotion, according to the guards at the station.”
Nabuwang na siguro yong Mama kasi araw2x daw hirap mag commute sa MRT : )
