Of Red wine & Cordless phone: The art of social climbing!
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Do you see that phone? No! Don’t get me wrong honey! That’s a cordless phone! Here’s another one!

Nice, isn’t it? Well, let me start by telling you a story about what happened in the plane!
I was flying from Detroit to Japan, onboard not the Airbus 380 as previously reported by Wall Street Journal, rather Northwest lang po - dun sa klaseng pangkaraniwan. Of course, I was with the group of who else, eh di mga kapwa aboridyinis ko!
Well, there was one lady na tumigok daw po muna nang kung ano mang medizina - who knows baka gamut sa rayuma. After which, omorder ang karengkang nang red wine. Listen to me people, I’m not a doctor that’s a graduate of some med school in the Philippines, pero what I know is that purgatoryo ang abot mo if you do this shit. Eh ano fa nga ba. Feel nang lady, social sya. Maybe she was applying the art of social climbing na tinuro nang ibang websites at di ako! HAHAHAH! Result?Â
If there is a medical doctor onboard, we need your assistance immediately. Please come to row 38!
Yan po ang pahayag nang steward. Yong pa-social na lady eh nahilo, umalpas yong blood pressure, nakita ko na lang me swero ever na at nag-kakagulo na sa aisle!Â
Lesson learned? Ano fa! Learn the art of social climbing ki reyna neks time para di kayo mapahiya sa plane!
Many thanks pala sa mga Pinoy na doktor ang mga Pinay na nurses who assisted this lady! I hope they’re reading this blog! At least naregaluhan sila nang Northwest nang additional mileage!
Next story:Â
From the airport, we decided to have coffee at Starbucks on Metrowalk in Ortigas. While there, I noticed this young man carrying what appears to be a cordless phone! Eh, dahil ako eh tiga-promdi, I was just looking at him - bewildered, whereas my friends, where giggling at me.
It was like - Matilda! Did I miss something? Why in the world did somebody forget to tell me that this is the current coolness craze in Manila kuno? Na, you gotta bitbit your cordless phone and show-off ever! Eye em supposed to be the PhD professor ever on social climbing, yet I missed this one! Anong katarantaduhan to? Will somebody in their sane brain explain this to me?
Andun ka sa cashier, nakapila at bibit mo ang cordless phone complete with the whole landing gear mapapahiya ang Cape Canaveral!
Well, well, well! Let’s get in the groove mga kafateed!!! Learn the art of social climbing! Bring your cordless phone with you wherever your ass maybe!

OMG! Who would want that?!?! Plus the only ones who call my landline are
1. Family that I don’t want to speak to
and
2. Telemarketers
I don’t need that 24/7!
That’s just crazy!
