And so there, because of an overwhelming majority of the board which is comprised of me, myself and I - this Contest is therefore extended as per this announcement:
ORIGINAL ENTRY:
It will soon be October 14 na mga kapatid, and today (sa Pinas) is the last day to submit your entries to our very own OFW Slogan & Logo Design Competition. You have up until 12:00 midnight Eastern Standard Time to submit your entries, and that would be around October 15 noon-time in Manila. Submit your OFW Slogan & Logo design, you don’t have to post them in your blog entries no more - to make is easier on your part.
Special thanks to this anonymous guy from Dubai for contributing Php5,000!

Cee, I saw one sa dashboard ko, alam mo naman, sa dinami dami nang kaaway ko, ambilis nang dashboard kong mag-update kaya siguro wez ko see ang links. According to the constitution of reynaelena.com, the deadline is October 14, 2007, for which those who respected that constitution deliberately squeezed their minds resulting to nosebleeds and vertigo just to make sure to follow that law and not to go beyond the deadline.

hmm….normally, hindi ako magrereklamo at pabayaan ko ang extension na yan….
PERO! partikular ako sa oras. ayoko nale-late. ibig sabihin ayoko ring late ang iba. di bale sana kung emergency. wag na wag nyong sasabihing Pilipino time, lalo nyo lang pinalulubog ang karakter ng Pilipino. Nalimutan ko kung sino nagsabi pero magandang sarilinin ang kasabihang “If you are ten minutes early, you’re late!”
Hindi ako takot to go against the tide kung nasa tama ako. I don’t dance to the music if the music sucks. Kahit yung boss ko dati natutong pumasok ng maaga dahil sa ‘kin.

may premyo, syempre…
may deadline….
kumahog yung marami (o konti)…
tapos biglang mae-ekstend dahil may nagrekwes….
kung hindi kilala yung nag-rekwes, sa parte ng nagpapakontes, pinararami nya kontestans; o baka naghahanap pa sya ng entries…
sa parte ng nag-rekwes, humahabol sya kasi may plano sya….ayder may ibubuga sya o may kilala sya na magaling na pwede nya bayaran ng mas maliit sa prayz o kaya sabihin nya lang na hati sila….
pag may bonding o magkakilala ang rekwester at nagpapakontes, at pumayag yung nagpapakontes, tawag dun POLITICS…
sa parte ng mga masigasig at on-time pinasok ang entry, KAHIT WALANG IBANG NAKAKAKITA KUNDI YUNG NAGPAPAKONTES PA LANG, eh NABAWASAN ang chance na manalo dahil dumami ang entries na baka nga humabol lang dahil may ibubuga o may kilalalang may ibubuga sa larangan ng talento na kailangan sa kontes na sinasalihan.

I think the issue here is all about the money. Why be upset if you are secured with your work? why hinder others from joining? unless you want to win all by yourself diba? the more contestants the more choices… this is not just a money contest.. this is a logo contest that would best represent the OFWs all around the world.
Let’s not limit our choices… good competition is always healthy.
But greed begets greed.
Kahit pa siguro may prinsipyo ka, alalahanin mo yung nagpa-contest kasi pera niya yun. Gusto nya siyempre sulit pera nya. So bilang may pa-kontest, right nya lang na i-extend yan kung gusto nya. We contestants should be pressured and not the other way around. Mahiya naman tayo sa balat natin kasi di pa tayo nanalo astang TSAMPYON na tayo… remember hindi ka sigarilyo…. hihihi

Sa federacion, tawagin man ni Bryan Boy sarili nya at kapwa nya nga “Faggot”, okay lang sa kanila yan, part yan ng kalandian nila… Pero kapag ikaw gagamit yan, lalo na dun sa context ng pagkakasabi mo, hindi acceptable… offensive.

I believe napikon ka with all your charingan here. Hope you didn’t kasi this all started with you. I’m sure you know that I don’t moderate messages here, bahala kayong magbatuhan nang plato dito but I have to teach you with something that I know very well.
This is an unwritten rule. It’s one of what I call - social climbing skills - so that you’d get along with people, blacks, gays, jewish or whatever. We Pinoys are known to being able to get along with almost any kind and types of people.
This very simple rule is called: IF YOU DON’T OWN IT, DON’T SAY IT. Therefore, you got to be very careful in using the word “faggot” because I’m sure you’re not.
There’s a very thin line. If you’re my “Matilda”, you’d be allowed to use the word to me - but not to anyone. Used in a different tone of sentence, it could spell war or terms of endearment. Misplace a comma and you’d be in trouble. Pronounced slightly with a high octave, you’d be so in trouble.
By saying that you have a lot of gay friends does not justify the use of that word. You could even have a gay son. You have to own it. And to own it is to be one - a gay one.
Pinoys who don’t use English in their everyday life, that would not mean anything. It would not even cause anything. But for Pinoys who use English in everyday life like me and us here, it sounds very different. Infuriatingly different. I can’t explain it well.
To be on the safe side? Follow this: If you don’t own it, don’t say it.

When I see I’m wrong, I accept and say sorry. This is one of those times. Pardon my ignorance. I really didn’t think it to level with the N word.
I admit napikon na ako…dahil dun sa binibintang sa kin. Sabi ko nga, if there’s one thing na makakagalit sa kin is yung bintangan ako ng di ko ginawa. Tawagin mo kong pangit, ok lang. Wag lang magnanakaw o sinungaling. Tawagin mo kong Tupperware, tinitiis ko lang yun, kasi hindi ako plastik. I am what I am.
Yes I have several gay friends pero hindi naman mga puti yun noh kaya ‘bakla’ ang normal na tawag namin sa kanila…namin as in friends nila na hindi bakla…which I equated to the term fag.
