This little girl from Daraga, Albay is shining in America!

You all are familiar with Jeopardy di ba? I don’t need to do any wiki-wiki explanation chuvalinga, right? Basta, isa syang big deal, big time at primetime game show para sa mga magagaling at matatalinong tao.
Guess what! TONIGHT! As in NGONIAN NA BANGGUI! There was a Pinay on Jeopardy! World domination ever!!!Â
Tonight’s Game Show was for kids. One of the contestant happens to be Asian. Not just Asian, a Filipina. Not just Filipina, a Bicolana! Not just Bicolana, as in tiga-Daraga, Albay!!! WHOAH! Taga-duman po sya samu ah!
She is the daughter of Leah and Raul Millena of Daraga, Albay who are now residents of California. Leah and Raul happens to be the classmates of my brother-in-law Mariano, at the Bicol University High School. They (BUHS) maintain their own high school family website and that’s how we all found out about the contest tonight, kaya naman kahit nangangatug na ang tuhod nang lola nyo sa gutom, watch ever ever kami together.
In the final round, the question was: “He’s the only President of the United States who never lived in Washington DC.” O! Knowing nyu ba yan? Sa totoo lang! Bwa ha ha ha ha!
Anyway, the contestants were 2 Caucasian kids and a Filipina-American kid named Rachel. Yon pong dalwang puting bata was no match ki Rachel. An taray-taray nang batang to ever talaga! From the start of the game, she pulled off pretty quickly! - wa gyud laban ung dalwang puti! Smart la-lush ang gurl and would only answer the question that she knew which is why nakapag-accumulate ever ang Cinderella nang sandamakal na anda. Heto pera nila:
Charle’s pot = $1,000
Edie’s pot = $1,100
Rachel’s pot = $16,000
Then, sa Final Jeopardy, Rachel bet $12,000 on the final question!!! An shoooorraaayyyy!!! Mawawasak puso ko sa takoootttt!!!
Then came the answer - “George Washington“.
Nanalo ever!!!! SHE WON! Her total winnings? $28,000!!!
Pati kami dito nakalimot, nawala sa sense, mega-lukso sa tuwa, nahulog yong monitor nang PC sa family room, nabasaggggggg!!!! Hahahaha!
And she will be back tomorrow at 7:00PM EST on ABC, you know, “THAT” network. Alam nyu yun, di ba? I’m sure the ABC Network executives knew that she’s Filipina because when Alex Trebek interviewed the little girl, she talked about the Mayon Volcano eruption.
So, to Leah and Raul - hoy! Grabe an ‘noy asin ‘ne na aki nindo! Matalion! Taram ni Noy, Congratulations na po sana saindo gabos dyan sa harong nindo! Mabalos!!!

wow oragon na aqui. sayang nilipat ko channel pero definitely bukas, i will be cheering for her. Sabi na saindo ang mga Filipino dae mapadaog. tsee.
And I have just been to the Mansion of former President George Washington at West Vernon Virginia last Monday. He preferred to stay in that mansion overlooking the Potomac River.
