Bloghacking: The new game of blog argumentation?!

This evening (EST), right after I posted my previous entry: Salmon of the Day, my website went offline. It was blank. It was weird. I never experienced this before. I guess, my server crashed again. Oh, well. I’m used to my server crashing all the time. My landlord has been telling me to switch to some high-speed because of my traffic and that it would be faster to load. I don’t know. I’m cheap. I don’t earn much. But eversince the Desperate Housewives flew over the cucco’s nest, my server has been crashing pretty regularly! Of course, you all know it because I get tons of emails from you to check my site and you would even send me captures.

But tonight - it was different.

When it went blank, I said - Ok, I must have been invaded again. So, I decided to check my gmails, thinking that my server crashed. Then, I read bluepanjeet’s email. “Reynz, they hacked my site!”.

*TOINK!

After I responded to bluep’s email, I checked my site once more. Normally, it goes back up again immediately. But this time, my site was rerouted to some funky address. I was angry of course and did not get the chance to capture. Instead, my instinct was to call my hosting company. They were very nice. I was on the phone talked to 4 people, each one assisted me, put me on hold, called me on another line, sent me an email, the line was red hot busy! They asked me if I have a backup copy of my blog. Guess what!  I actually just backed up my files right after I posted the latest entry! 

As I sit and wait for them to do whatever it is that they’re doing, I thought to myself, you know, I’ve pissed people with my opinions starting from Boy Bastos/Loren Legarda. Of course, I blogged the whole incident. Next, this Desperate Housewives. Seriously, I hope it was just a glitched. But then again maybe I am just uber-acting for after all some of these Pinoys back home had already given me some wonderful title:

I honestly don’t know if somebody out there is playing with me and bluepanjeet. Did someone just hacked our site? Who knows. Are they sending us a message? Is this the new game of argumentation? That if you can’t defend your post and you dis-agree with their opinions, you hack their website?!

There are so many self-righteous bloggers out here who I’m sure can explain the rules of argumentation. I’ll leave that to them. But if you are indeed trying to hack my site and gets to be successful, I will open another one because I will not allow you to control my bloglife. But rest assured that if I catch you, I will *hug* you to the fullest. :-)

I will not even apologize that I hurt your feelings because of what I wrote - beginning from Boy Bastos to Desperate Housewives for bloghacking is not even civilized.

    2. there will always be a time for everything bro. this is not our time but maybe soon The Divine master will somehow give us the grace to understand everything.

    Im putting everything into the hands of fate. wla din mangyayri kasi if I argue with them coz they are packs. but then again I dont hold any grudges against these people kahit pa obssess sila sa photo ko na may pakpak hehe,

    i’ll just go to normal mode. because my readers are affected and I wont waste any entry on them. sayang ang energy inang.

    basta i believe in the parody of Goliath and David.

    humility will always raise us up kaya lets just let go.. for the sake of peace. pero that doesnt mean that we are coward. we just have to think of the rest of the community who are also affected by these wars. anyway it will die naturally naman.

    kung ako lang hahamunin ko sana sila pero its not worth it really. they want us to be provoked kaya lets leave them be.

    di na naman nila mahahack ang blog ko kasi may plugin ako nilagay at may script ako ininstall sa server ko. i will also try to upgarde my blog to 2.3 para mas secure.

    Smile bro and lets get back to normal… you have only 1 week for your contest hehe.

    4. Nakakata-cute naman ito. Pucha takot lang nila kasi pag blog ako ginanun nila automatic sasabog ang gamit nilang pc! Ganun katindi ang ginagamit kong plugin lols.

    Reynz and Blue, this only mean one thing, Sikat ang mga blog nyo! Hayaan nyo na ang mga naiingit, ganun talaga ang buhay, me inggitero at kinaiingitan.

    essentially, that’s the Salmon of the Day: backup your files and I do, not religiously peron bina-bak-up ko talaga sya. now, i don’t know about the popular, given the name calling - of course guilty din ako - siguro notorious and blog ko! hahaha :-)

    Ambo is right: backup your files and if you are familiar with the plugin that bluep is using, might as well include that. but i read your blog and you probably noticed that i frequent your blog and i don’t think you’d be targeted if ever, alam mo naman yun..

    I’m semi-technoboba, alam mo yun, pero kelangan kong mag-rely sa mga taong nakaka-alam at ako eh nag-de-depend sa kanila kaya tinanong ko sila kung ano ang posibilidad - sagot saken - posible daw - pero statistics 50/50 di ba?

    Pasensya na po kung lumalabas na nag-aakusa ako dahil sort of parang ganun na nga which is yong logical thinking nang isang taong (ako) naiirita dahil napapag-initan ako hahaha :-)
    Pangaral to sa akin to backup my files. Ganun na lang! :-)

    18. Usually, Mare, kapag na-hack ang blog mo nag-iiwan pa ang hacker ng signature gaya ng nangyari kina Bryanboy at Project Manila (mga tipong “HACKED BY JHOMZ”).

    Siguro nga na-hack ang blog mo kaya siguro bawas-bawasan ang mga program sa sidebar (ewan ko kung papaano nila nagagawa, pero sabi nila madali daw makuha ang password mo doon).

    I remember when they hacked Bryan’s site, si Chuva pa una nakakita and YM’d Bryan…

    In any case, I hope they don’t play games with me because it’s not fair and never never civilized ateng. I believe the people the I depend on (o di ba tarush! hahaha) sila ton nakaka-alam but then again, malay ko ba kung talagang nagwala lang tong site na to dahil parati tong crash nang crash. Ayoko talaga syang isipin.
