I had a crush with the New Jersey Governor

by reyna12 on September 23, 2007

I used to work for a broadcast investment firm based in Princeton, New Jersey then. I worked for this company for about eighty (80) years as a super-abacus guy where I met the super-nicey-nicey-boss in the whole wide world. Sorry for the name drop, but it was here that I got the chance to meet two (2) of New Jersey’s famous Governors.

One of them was Governor Whitman. What was she doing in our office? We manage investments in the broadcast world and the company that I worked for happens to be one of the big players in the industry which is why, when we went hi-tech in one of our investments, we invited the Governor of New Jersey to attend the opening. Though I never got the chance to talk to her, nor took pictures, I thought it was nice to be in the same table with her in our office.

If you remember, Governor Whitman went on to become one of the Cabinet Ministers of “that” administration.

A few years later, there was another big event in our office. This time our visitor was once again, the Governor of New Jersey.

My gosh! He was one very handsome guy! I swear, when he walked in our office, I was just waiting to be manhandled, honey! hehehe! Morality? Gone out the window! But of course, who would knew. In the back of mind, I did wished he was… ahh… you know! hehehe! I honestly had a big crush on him! HUGEE!!! I wanna marry him then!

He was not Gay American then. He was projecting a clean picture of a family man. Married with a kid. Sort of an envy to a lot of dads in the world. Handsome, beautiful wife with a cute kid, a rising political career with Washington expecting big things off of him. But you see, his off camera/political life was just bursting out of control, and so:

My truth is that, I am a Gay American!

I remember at that time, me and Chuva couldn’t get enough of the news coverage and the torrid stories and escapades of this handsome Governor! I was honestly shocked and kinda sad because the world was maligning him like crazy. But then again… well… - you reap what you sow.

Now, the nation’s first openly gay governor should pay Dina Matos McGreevey $2,500 a month, Superior Court Judge Karen M. Cassidy ruled. Matos McGreevey had been receiving $1,129 a month, but maintained that was insufficient to meet the needs of herself and the couple’s 5-year-old daughter.

I’ve heard stories and stories of gay men, married to straight women and I honestly could not picture out “that” moment and I don’t even want to think about “it”. Ugh! How could gay men lead a life like this? I know, I know – we’ve got all the valid reasons whatever chorva chorva forever chuvalais. They sleep with a woman and look for a chuvalais! Grrrr!!!

And in situations like this, when the cover is blown - it’s always the gay guy whose the loser – at least, in they eyes of the public. Public sympathy always go to the woman. I could not even imagine how devastating it is to the woman to find out that you’re married to a… well… a “bra-snatcher”, that’s how Matilda calls me. Hahaha!

Any thoughts? Hey! WOMAN, what would you do?
