1. How satisfied are you with your job? Right now, I am very satisfied with my job – both in terms of work and financial aspects.
2. Are you fulfilling your childhood dreams? In essence I think – YES- but not exactly as I’ve imagined my future then. When I was in grade school my dream is to become a Chemical Engineer and work for a multinational or top company, study MBA, climb the corporate ladder, buy my own car, my house, etc. I did become a Chemical Engineer and I had my first job at a petrochemical plant. But then I realized that I really wanted to do environmental work instead and that’s my job now so I consider my childhood dream fulfilled. I think it’s normal to go through paradigm shifts in one’s life. The only thing I am yet to fulfill is obtaining MBA but I did enroll in Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering and Management and I just need to do my project to get the full-pledge degree. At this point in my life, I am not anymore wishing to climb the corporate ladder. A few years ago, I had another paradigm shift and the goal I’m tyring to achieve now is to obtain financial freedom and move out of the 8-5 job.
3. What would be your dream job? I’ve always wanted to have a job that has a lot of travel opportunities within and outside the Philippines. I didn’t land into that kind of job but it’s okay because I’m still able to travel to different places.
4. What’s the most satisfying part of your job? I feel good when my clients are happy with my work.
5. What’s the most important quality of a great boss? A good mentor and motivator. I also like a boss who can defend his people and stand for his people through difficult times.
6. What’s the best job-related advice you’ve ever received? First, “if you are not happy with your job anymore, leave” and second, “always protect yourself.” As a young employee, I was so naive and I trust too much so I end up getting blamed for things I did not do. But through time, I learned to protect myself and be careful of people around me.
7. What’s the one thing/person you hate at work and why? I hate to work with people who steal credit for work they did not do.

- to be able to have a regular column in a prestigious newspaper, flight attendant or nurse, military nurse, food critic, toys quality control, professional photographer and pastoral ministry

1. How satisfied are you with your job? ~ IT’S NOT HANDSOMELY REWARDING MONEY-WISE. IT’S FULL OF BAD LEADERSHIP AND WORK POLITICS…BUT I LOVE IT. I’VE MET THE BEST AND THE WORST SOULS IN MY LIFETIME HERE.
2. Are you fulfilling your childhood dreams? NOPE. I TOOK UP ENGINEERING BY ACCIDENT. I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE IN ADVERTISING/COMM ARTS/MEDIA/PRODUCTION/RESEARCH
3. What would be your dream job? ~ ANYTHING THAT HAS 2 WORKING DAYS AND 5 REST DAYS
4. What’s the most satisfying part of your job? ~ ALTHOUGH THE KIND OF WORK THAT I DO MAY HAVE BEEN OFTEN TYPECASTED, OFTEN THE LAST RESORT OR THE QUICKEST WAY TO LANDING A JOB, I’M STILL LOVEING IT BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO IT THAN MEETS THE EYE. I MAY NOT BE GETTING A GREAT DEAL OF CASH FROM IT BUT NONETHELESS, IT’S HELPING ME PAY MY OBLIGATIONS. IT HELPED ME FINANCE THE COLLEGE EDUCATION OF MY 2 BROS. AT LEAST, IT ALLOWS ME AND MY FAMILY TO LIVE COMFORTABLY.
5. What’s the most important quality of a great boss? ~ YUNG BOSS NA MAHILIG MANLIBRE. NYAHAHA. SERIOUSLY, SOMEONE WHO’S LEADING BY EXAMPLE.
6. What’s the best job-related advice you’ve ever received? ~ PEOPLE DON’T CARE HOW MUCH YOU KNOW UNTIL THEY KNOW HOW MUCH YOU CARE

- depende yan, anong klaseng job ba ang pinaguusapan dito? yong pang lunes hanggang biernes ko? yong sabado ko? o yong linggo ko?
2. Are you fulfilling your childhood dreams?- hindi nga eh… hindi ako naging isa sa mga sex bomb dancers. ni hindi man lang ako pumasang asf dancer kagaya ni luningning at milagring grrr…
3. What would be your dream job?-sa bahay lang at the same time may kita!… diba natupad naman sya? sa bahay lang ako nagtatarbahu…
4. What’s the most satisfying part of your job?-kapag napapasaya ko ang mga amo ko at anak ng amo ko.
5. What’s the most important quality of a great boss?-eh di laging may raise lol. sa taas ng bilihin ngayon ha! gas matas, sigarilyo mataas, pati sardinas mahal na din… isa na lang ang bumababa eh.
6. What’s the best job-related advice you’ve ever received?-ay nako isara mo na yang bizniz mo! isinara ko, e di walang stress! masaya lahat!
7. What’s the one thing/person you hate at work and why?-wala, ako ang owner, ako ang manager, ako ang president, ako ang ceo, ako ang founder!

~ I was satisfied a year ago but now I’m bored. I feel I want something new.. more challenging.

~ No. I never really knew I what I want when I was a kid. But definitely not this job.

~ Before I want to be a musician and a traveler but now I want to be a (millionare) SAHM. hehe.

~ Payday!

~ Boss who can think he is in his employees’ shoes. One who listens and understands.
