Loren Legarda pushed 
boybastos into the limelight! Acting like a policeman! The Philippines has no laws against cyber pornography. But on Wednesday, Sen. Loren Legarda asked authorities to shut down boybastos.com (www.boybastos.com), because it offered free access to pornography. I am not here to defend boybastos.com and I don’t flaunt my legal opinion on arresting anyone but how could a senator’s word be so potent as to immediately effect an arrest? Correct me if I am wrong, are we under martial law in the Philippines?!
I understand that we need to protect our kids (ba’t ba nakikisali ako sa *our kids eh wala naman akong matris?!) from the dangers of pornography, and although, Mark Verzo, the alleged operator of controversial Internet porn site boybastos.com (www.boybastos.com), was freed without being charged by the National Bureau of Investigation because there is nothing to be charged him about, I still could not understand how one senator’s orders immediately effects an arrest.
Help me Matilda! What is it that I don’t understand?! Enlighten me please! Give me a flashlight! Kahit na kandila.
But how do you define pornography?!

Isn’t the ZTE Deal pornography? That’s raping the Filipino people and making sure the Chinese have access to our national information! Unless we are clear exactly what’s behind the deal, who got what - what was gotten by who - true or true, then I personally consider that a pornography. Teka, ba’t ba ako napunta sa ZTE?!

Yuga who was in a similar (not porno) situation before having been sued for some libelous entries has offered tips on how to avoid the Boy Bastos treatment. He said:
I won’t talk about any legalese here as I’m not in authority to discuss those issues. From my point of view, and having dealt with people from the NBI before on a similar situation, here are my tips to avoid the same treatment from them.

WOW NAMAN! Eye em so honored! I wish our senators would read my Squatter Advice or offer of solutions! But not going away from the topic,
Let me check that site!!! (Like I am a legal genius! duh!) Maybe it has the plaslight!
But I don’t wanna pre-empt watch on dutch site - but remind me Miss Senator (if indeed you are Loren Legarda) - what were the charges against Boy Bastos? I’d like to know? As well as my engkantaditos y ditas?

Ok, my dear Senatress Loren Legarda (If indeed this is you!), I read the blog article fast - (tinuruan akong maging fast reader sa biz skul namen eh) and it’s really all about a sling on boy bastos freedom of expression thing and it was fun reading that line - “i’ll know it, when i see it”.
My legal talent is very limited to a semester stint at the Jose Rizal College so excuse my ignorance -
BUT - there was a warrant - remind Miss Senatress:
WHAT WAS THE CRIME AGAIN, WHY HE WAS ARRESTED?
We have so many problems in our turd world kawntri and why can’t you all Senatress and Congressness prioritize the more serious ones instead of this NO CRIME committed just because the site was not palatable to some?
There the ZTE deal, madame.

There’s a dead frat guy, madame.
The coconut levy is still in the dark, madame.

Hello, If indeed you are Loren,can you please stop Meralco from pushing our electric bill up up and away…. like superman, batman and wonder woman huh??? Nawalan kami ng kuyente kasi naputol ang kable gawa ng hangin, 36 hours kami tumatawag sa customer service na puro lecheng kanta ang pinatutugtog habang bingi ka na at hypnotize ka na sa damuhong paulit ulit na awit, tapos huli pa dumating ang repair crew. the bill came mas mataas pa ang kuryente, mas mataas pa sa poste ng meralco. Hindi ba dapat yung mga senador atupagin ang pag abolish sa mga walang kwentang batas at maglagak ng mas maayos na batas. Tulad nyang Oil Deregulation Law at yang PPA ng meralco na wala ng ginawa kungdi pahirapan kami…
Kung ikaw man yan senadora, mas hahanga ako sayo kung yung ugat ng problema ang unti unti mong sinusolusyunan. Yang si boy bastos is just the tip of the iceberg at hindi pa nga natin masasabi na nagkasala nga sya sa batas.
ewan senadora, if you are her indeed… its time to listen because one of the masses is already telling you pointblank that up to now since Ramos time, the senate is useless!

Exactly ate cee. That’s why I’m challenging our senadora if its really her. My point is, if the senate is useless since ramos time, Loren has been useless also since her attachment to FPJ. Whatever happened to the envelope she cried about for pete’s sakes. Ngayon sya ang number one ally ni erap. KUng prinsipyo nga nya kaya nyang ipagbili, yun pa kayang Meralco? I doubt it.

You see that’s why I love Miriam ate cee, she maybe a crackpot, but she definitely knows her laws and principles. Isn’t it Ironic that the only crackpot in the senate is the only one who has actual sanity on national issues?
