Russians speaking in Tagalog or Filipino

I love Russians! Honestly, they’re very very nice people and funny too! I met a lot of Russians at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary and made friends with a lot of them. One of them would turn out to be one of my best friend - Vlad who would beat out students of Insead for some Business Plan Writing Contest and spend an all expense one year stint at York University in Toronto. That’s when we became close friends, since I would drive from Philadelphia to Toronto and spend time with him. Love him! He! He! He!
(I’m the lady in gold and I’m touching Vlad’s shoulders! These are students from Temple University Tokyo, Temple University Philadelphia and Central European University Budapest)
Surprisingly, these Russians do know where the Philippines is and they actually know something about the Philippines (they mentioned the dictator and Aquino) when we were all joking around in Budapest. I love it. Unlike my American classmates who have no clue where the Philippines is. They thought it’s somewhere in the Caribbean or Hawaii. They have no idea, the Philippines is actually in Dubai! Hehehe!
(Ok, I have to super-impose yong banner sa gilid at baka isipin nyo kinukutong ko kayo, no?! Baka madali ako ni Joey! La lang! )
So, when I was browsing YouTube and ran across Russians speaking in Filipino? Oh my god!!! I was drooling! Can you imagine this? If Russians are studying Filipino - then why are Filipinos not studying to learn the damn language kahit na kulang pa ang Filipino words? Ha?! Bakit? Bakit? MATILDAAA!!! BAKITTT????? ~!@#$%^&*B *blag* (niyuyug-yug ang binabangungut at nabiglang Matilda!)

oi..this is coolness. i dunno pero for some reasons parang takot ako sa mga Russo…you just change my perspective about them..iba talaga ang impluwensiya ng reyna.

alam mo, gawa kasi yan nang old akala naten about soviet union na walang gagawin eh bombahin tayo. honestly, yong mga perception na yun eh kagagawan yata nang cee ayy eyyy alam mo na character assasination and everything - pero i met them, been with them - parehas lang naten! nakakatuwa ngang kasama!

you know, i love it when i hear foreigners speak filipino.
here in philadelphia, we have one really really nice King of Prussia Mall (built for reyna’s shopping pleasures) and I was surprised nont makita ko si Rosetta binebenta yong Speak Tagalog at yong marketing drama chuva nila is that Tagalog is the 2nd most widely spoken Asian Language. I was like - huh??? Di ko alam yon ah!

Getting to know you stage pa lang tayo Emperadora! Pero alam ko heart of gold ka kaya like na kita agad. Hoy, hindi ako sumisipsip ha? Tagal ng lumabas ang nursing board result at nandito pa rin ako kasi aliw ako sa site mo. Besides I also have many gay friends and I find their honesty and directness both refreshing and heartwarming. O siya, naubos mo na ang quota mo of compliments for the day, hahaha! Hayan ha at nagpay homage na ako sa Reyna! Salamat po for allowing me to roam in your queendom!

Speaking of Russians, tama ka, inang. They’re nice. Di ba may bago akong hobby? Yung nasa isang blog ko na dinalaw mo? They’re very kind enough to send me cards para dumami ang collections ko. As of today, I’ve received 5 cards from Russia. Yeheeeey!

hahaha naaliw talaga ako dito sa site mo kaibigan. Hindi kaya related kayo nung russian na binanggit ni Ms. Soho na si Eckatarina Baklanova? hahaha joke lang.
sana si Rene Russo at si Carusso ay magtagalog na rin hehe (*toink)
although flattering pero why the heck are they studying Tagalog? di ko magets. I mean di kagaya ng japanese at russian na maraming nakaka-alam ng language nila.
We had an exchange student in our catholic school in high school before, one russian, one german and one american. no offense but the american exhange student was somewhat hypocrytical. pag kaharap kami o ibang pinoy sinasabi nya na okay ang Pinas. but when the evaluation came, ayun lumabas lahat ng reklamo nya sa pinoy at sa pinas. di na nabugbog ng mga batchmates ko kasi umalis na papunta abroad. while the german naman very proud. she isolates herself often and speaks highly of her race. pero yung russian very down to earth. sumali pa sya sa program ng skul namin at nagsayaw ng tinikling. Imagine that? tapos tuwang tuwa kami ng sumali din sya sa pep squad ng batch namin kasi magnda at long legged sya.. ika nga ng mga barkada kong manyak, libre silip sa langit. Bottomline is russians are very willing to adapt and inculture themselves. but of course this is an isolated case but somehow you can actually see the cultural differences among nationalities.
bago ko makalimutan Inang, asan ang kapa at korona mo sa pic? hahaha. Gold na Gold ang suot ah.

down to earth ang mga yan! everything i know about russians puro mali until i get the chance to hang around with them for a week!!! mga buang din, tawa ako nang tawa! and as pinoy, i thought i find it very easy to connect with them, besides noh? ang gagwapoooo! hehehe!
tinago ko muna kapa at korona, baka palayasin ako nang university, special guests pa naman kami nang buong school as in yong head nila na bali bali ang kamay even attended (he is south african)

very warm ano? nasa lahi kaya nila yun o dala na rin marahil ng past hsitory ng country nila tulad natin na sa halip magmukmok eh dinadaan lahat sa tawa? yung exchange student namin kung marunong lang magtagalog yun that time e malamang sumali na yun sa comedy skit namin. kalog din eh.

i think you’re right - we almost have the same nakaraan although mas malupit yong kanila which is why, tawa din lang sila nang tawa. ano kaya yon? normal human reaction para itago ang mga kasawian naten?

good shrink question my friend. oo its normal. its not actually hiding but compensating for the lost time na di sila sumaya. speaking for my kind who are broken and wounded before, kaya ako kalog at magulo is because I don’t want to experience anymore the loneliness. good comedians are actually those who experienced the fulness of pain in the past. Mapapansin mo, kung sino yung mga masaya sa buhay, wlang mga problema at okay mga background, sila yung mga corny kausap at mag joke. its because hapiness is already in them. while those who are wounded and broken are very passionate in finding true happiness kaya kahit mabababaw tawa sila ng tawa. its a priceless comodity for broken hearted people like me and my kind… not exactly lonely just clarify.
