Most people don’t get the fact that they need bitches like me to shake up their world, otherwise their lives would be boring and mediocre.
Like everyone else, I was infuriated by the comments, the crappy and really insulting apology by this bitch (that’s how she calls herself) from Manila Standard Bastard, who obviously wanted some popularity at the expense of Overseas Filipino Workers, and with Manila Standard just standing by without doing anything at our expense. It’s obvious to me that their partnership is wanting some damn serious attention given the lousy readership of the paper and it’s pale comparison with the more credible daily papers in Manila like the Inquirer. I mean, da bitch is in no way comparable with the high-caliber columnists of the Inquirer or Malaya! So, expect a lot of crap shooting from her mouth!Â
Thanks to Issai (www.ladygadfly.com ) for getting my attention as well as Tingog for picking up the story. We all need to be vigilant and watch for people who not only have no freaking respect to us, yet enjoy the very fruits of what we’ve worked for so damn hard. If this columnist don’t see the connection between our remittances and the lovely life she have, then something is sorely missing from her brain. Manila Standard Bastard is probably jumping out of joy for the new found notorious ratings created by her. I am not be surprised after all, Manila Standard Bastard look more like a tabloid paper. Definitely not the standard to look up to!
This whole incident is covered in the blogosphere very well and so, here’s my contribution to this one. Let’s help this Manila Standard bitch have a fucking great life by helping her to avoid an Overseas Filipino Worker.

Let me start here. Where are we? Obviously, we’re scattered around the world. So, if this notorious Manila Standard bastard columnist don’t want to run into an OFW, I suggest she flies to the North and South Pole. There are no OFW’s there yet. I could send her the list and it practically lists all the countries listed in the United Nations even those that are not UN members - like Taiwan. So, bitch! - don’t go to these places.
How strong are we? Just check the numbers. I don’t see anything wrong with being an Overseas Filipino Worker when all your remittances are the very reason why this columnist is having a good life in the Philippines whereas, we are separated from our love ones, our families and our friends. This $12 billion dollars has contributed immensely to the economic well-being of a lot of people in the Philippines and believe you me, even this notorious columnist from Manila Standard! How come we don’t get any respect from our contributions? Was it our fault that we’re all outside of the Philippines working and putting our lives at risk just to survive?
Now, let’s help her further. This table will show you where are the exit point of Overseas Filipino Workers. Check this out! Now, she can drive to Laoag and get her plane out there to fly to the North or South Pole. She definitely has to avoid NAIA, Mactan, Davao and Clark. Poor bitch, she’s gonna have to make her own boat!
Ok. Now, let’s take this further. Most OFW’s goes back home and for the most part, those who are not able to go back most probably are working in the same field out there in the Philippines. Well, here’s another interesting statistics that this bitch from Manila StandardBastard has to avoid, else, I’m sure she’d ran into an OFW.

These OFW’s sacrifice everything for the sake of their families and who are you to criticize kung DH man sila or what? The nerve! Nakakapag-init ng tuktok ang kakitiran ng pag-iisip mo, sa totoo lang.

I enjoyed reading your blogs and well reseached figures. The OFWs should be commended! They keep our economy going.

Masarap tusukin ng aspili itong si Malu Fernandez para humupa ang namamanas niyang katauhan. Kawawang nilalang na kulang sa pansin at may feeling of superiority complex. Hindi naman siya maganda at muka nga siyang matronang mongoloid pero napaka suplada. As if na may karapatan. Malamang ko ang mga domestic helpers na nakasabay niya sa eroplano ay di hamak na mas maganda at seksi kesa sa kanya kaya hindi niya ito matanggap.
Ang sa akin lang naman sana ay magsulat siya ng may kabuluhan. Yun bang may makikinabang. Kung gusto lang niyang magpatawa ay hindi na niya kelangan magsalita o magsulat. Maghubad lang siya o mag swim suit sa tabing dagat tiyak na maraming mamamatay sa tawa sa itsura ng katawan niya. sosyal daw. mayaman daw. Eh ano ngayon?
Sumikat ang isang hangal na katulad mo. Hindi dahil sa talent o mabuting gawa kundi sa kapangitan ng ugali mo. Go to hell and eat darak there!!!!

Kahit sinong Santa ay kukulo ang dugo sa mga isinulat ni Malu Fernandez sa isang magazine sa Pilipinas.” From Manila to Greece” ang pamagat ng kanyang kolum. Dito sinabi niyang gusto niyang maglaslas ng wrist habang kasabay sa eroplano ang mga OFW’s. Sinabi rin niya na natalo ang amoy ng kanyang pabango na Jo Malone ng pabango na Axe at Charlie ng mga OFW’s.
Nakakagulat na sa moderno at high tech. panahon ngayon ay may isa paring kolumnista na tulad niya na may mababaw na kaisipan at sensibilidad. Sinabi niyang gusto lang niyang magpatawa sa kanyang panulat. Hindi naman ata tamang gawing katatawanan ang mga OFWs’ dahil lang sa kanilang kahirapan. At nakakalungkot isipin na kapwa Filipino pa natin ang nagmamaliit sa mga OFW’s.
Naalala ko tuloy na minsan sa buhay ko ay nakaranas din ako ng pangliliit sa isang kapwa filipino. Ang una ay pamangkin siya ng aking dating kasintahan. Nang malaman na nagtatrabaho lang ako sa isang Book Store ay sinabihan ako ng harapan na doon “lang” pala ako nagtatrabaho. At ganun din ang tiyahin (Sister ng aking ex) na ang unang bati sa akin ay “nurse ka rin?”…. na ng malaman nito na hindi ako “nurse” ay hindi na ako kinausap o tiningnan man lang sa muka hanggang umalis ako ng kanilang tirahan sa New Jersey hehe. Kasumpa sumpang nakaraan.
Nakakalungkot at nakakasuka na may mga Filipinong mga ganito ang ugali. Na komo nakakaangat lang sila sa buhay ay akala nila ay sino na silang mga Poncio Pilato. Para sa akin ay mas nakakababa ng pagtingin ang kanilang inuugali. Ang mga taong may laman ang utak at puso ay hindi ganiyang magbitaw ng pananalita. Hindi nasusukat sa dami ng pera at antas ng pamumuhay ang pagkatao ng bawat indibidwal. Ang lahat ng mga luho at materyal na bagay ay pansamantala lang na ipinahiram ng Diyos. Ang tanyag na pangalan ay hanggang lupa lang. Kung kilala man ang kanilang pangalan dito sa lupa maaring sa Itaas ay hindi. Kung meron man na mataas na pinag aralan hindi rin yan magagamit sa impiyerno. Kung meron ka man “green card” ay hindi rin yan ang pasaporte papunta sa langit. Iba ang sukatan ng Diyos kaysa tao.
Ang ibang mga mayayamang tulad ni Malu Fernandez ay hindi matanggap na may makasalamuhang OFW’s. Tulad din ng ibang ipokritang Pinoy na nagpapanggap na may mga pera… pero ang totoo ay wala naman. Sagad din sa utang at hindi maaamin na gumagapang din sila para maka salba dito sa America o ibang bansa. Tigilan na yan mga kayabangan.
Sasaludo ako sa isang tao kung makikita ko siyang may na contribute na kabutihan sa mga naghihirap na kababayan. Mga taong halos magbuwis ng buhay para ipaglaban ang karapatan ng mga mahihirap. Ang mga OFW’s na nagpapakahirap malayo sa pamilya para lang mabuhay ng marangal. Yun ang nakakahanga. Hindi katulad ng mga kaipokritahan, kayabangan at pagkukunwari. Tigilan na yan!
Mabuhay sa katotohanan at huwag sa kayabangan. Pag namatay tayo hindi tatanungin ng Diyos kung ano ang ating pabango o kung anong brand name ng damit natin. Ang itatanong Niya kung anong makabuluhan ang ginawa natin dito sa lupa.
Si Malu Fernandez papaano pa siya nakakatulog sa gabi habang nilalait siya ng ilanpung milyong Pilipino na OFW’s. Kawawang nilalang!!

Tama ka pinoynewyorker… pag namatay ang baboy na malu tatanungin sya ng Diyos kung ano ang ang pinakamalaking ambag nya sa pilipinas nun sya ay nabubuhay pa.

Most of my negative feelings towards Malu have already been blogged in this forum. I do feel for the hurt that she has caused the OFWs but I think that her looks is not the real issue. It is the put down of the OFWs, the HYPOCRISY and the thought that she is superior make me feel like throwing up at her! But the baboy comments are not really fun to read anymore! (BTW, I am not in the fat category!) We are just stooping down to her level by feeding all these negativities.
Let me say once more that I do not like Malu and what she stood for pretending to be some hot shot and she would never be the person that I would like the young ones to emulate. She is wrong to think that she could just maligned the OFWs. There is DIGNITY OF LABOR. What would our world be if nobody would do the dirty job? WE ARE GOING TO BE IN DEEP SH–! I HOPE THAT THE HIRED HELP SHE HAS IN HER HOUSEHOLD ARE TREATED DECENTLY AND PAID FAIRLY.

lahat ng mga Pilipino dapat magsakripisyo, katulad na lng ng ginagawa nting mga OFWs…
ang pagbaba ng halaga ng dolyar kontra sa piso ay isang magandang senyales na patungo na uli sa pag-unlad ang Pilipinas.
maaaring nararamdaman natin ang epekto ng halaga na ito, dahil katulad mo nagpapadala rin ako sa Pilipinas. Ang dating 50 kada dolyar na ngayon ay nasa 44 na lng, medyo malaki talaga ang nabawas sa remittance.
pero sabi ko nga, sa pangkalahatan para sa Pilipinas, ito ay isang hakbang tungo sa mas magandang pamumuhay.
