Hey World! Greet my friend FLIP (speakoutyouraflip) a happy birthday!

I saw him last night at the Jaded Lounge (it’s an Asian Gay Night) at 12th Air Command in Philadelphia. This happens every 2nd Friday of the month and it’s that time of the month that I get to see the members of my federation. So, I saw Flip last night and he said he will man-handle me if I don’t greet him on reyna elena. Yeap, that’s me. I need to be threatened, coerced and intimidated to do something for my friends. Divah???

So, I hopped in my car, punched his address on my navigator and off I go. When I got to New Jersey, there’s Route 295 first and then, the New Jersey Turnpike – side by side, together and ever. So, kinuha ko ang Route 295. Nagalit ang navigator, pilit na pinababalik ako. Nag-aaway kami! ~!@#$%^!

“Off route! Recalculating!” “Off route! Recalculating!” Tiningnan ko yong map, tama naman ang direction ko ah! West! Ayaw pumayag ang navigator. Pakalagpas nang isa pang exit – pilit akong pinag-e-exit! “Take ramp right and take exit 28!” AYOKO NGA! Pucha, ang traffic pala nang dinaanan ko!

I wonder kung ang navigator was programmed by some cranky Pinoy programmer – na pag nagkamali ka nang exit biglang sasabat ang navigator mo nang – “At saan ka papunta aber?! Sinabi nang take exit on your right! Tanga!” Di ba mas maganda yong ganun? Or something like – “Tanga ka ba? Sinabi nang take ramp right!”. And instead of saying “Off route!” – “Mali ang direksyon mo, Gaga!”

I WON! I WON! I WON!

There’s actually a powerball lottery tonight in Philadelphia, the total jackpot is now right around $161 million and I honestly only need $1 million to live comfortably. Can you imagine how many refrigerators I can buy for $1 million so that I’d have a boylet continously for the next x-x-x number of years?

Maybe tonight is my night! Why? As a prelude, I was just declared as one of the winners in the first contest at Chris Bloczynski dot Com! Isn’t this cool? But believe you me, there’s even a much better price than winning a $15.00 iTunes gift card, and that is, I might be winning Chris as another blogfriend! Isn’t blogging wonderful? Now, what do I do with this gift card? Ayoko nang bigay to sa mga boylets ko. Walang silbi ang mga yon!

My Philippine Daily Inquirer Interview

You know that I wanted to go back to Manila for good, except that I couldn’t seem to find a job – well, a job that will pay at least higher than what was originally offerred to me by a Makati investment firm. Their offer? Php60,000 a month. Ugh! That’s why I decided to go back to the United States. No, this happens to be not a job interview – although – if they offer me a job? Why not? I’d certainly consider it in a New York minute! I really, really, REAALLLLLIIIII would love to go back home and work in finance, operations, accounting, auditing, strategic management, investments, asset management, equity financing, teaching, dancing, prancing or kaya masahista.

In any case, I am currently being grilled by this one fine, very fine, Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist with a barrage of questions – pucha – grabe!!! hehehe! Binato ako nang todo todo! Ilang araw ko yatang kakana-in toooo!!! I’d tell you more about it kung pumasa tong mga katarantaduhan ko.
