Mah wife Matilda invited us for a dinnah ovah a red bottle of wine nong nakaraang weekend. Red bottle lang. Yong laman pepsi. Saan ka nakakita nang red wine na bumubula aber? I mean, social klimber nga ako, but I have already climbed and I know exactly kung ano ang kulay nang red wine! Hindi po talaga sya itim!

Hmppt! Na-alala ko tuloy when I was back in the Flippines. Yong aking fadir noon has a lot of foreign liqours, wines na naka-hilira dun sa taas nang bintana namin. Gilbey’s gin, Vodka, Tequila but you won’t see Sarsi o kaya Pale Pilsen. Puro walang laman! Pero pag nag-iinuman sila, alam nyo ba? Ginebra San Miguel ang nasa mesa. Si Matilda naman, red wine. Pepsi ang laman. Ugh!

I know, I’m way too late for a review of this one. But, Imelda’s been on the news again. Nahuli sya nang Las Tres Estrellas, mga bituing walang muning. Nagmayabang pa siya. Eto o.

But listening to Imelda in this docu-movie, I can’t help but notice na she seemed to be in her own world! Why can’t she grasp the fact na yong ginagasta nya eh pera natin? True, there are part of the interview that she did made sense, kaso most of the time, nasosobrahan at lumalagpas sa reality.

I may not like her for everything that their family represents and what crap they have done to mah kawntri, but I will give her credit for what she has contributed to the arts in the Philippines, except that, lahat nang mga to eh am sure me mga taga here, taga there, after all, just how could you amass all of those boxes and boxes of jewelries, monies and everything that was shown on the movie?
