Korean is one millionth foreign passenger at Clark airport
The one-millionth international passenger at the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) here is a Korean computer programmer who is a first-time tourist in the Philippines. Lee Eun Hee, 35, (kung sino man sya! guapo ba to?!)Â arrived on board Asiana Airlines’ Airbus 321 at 11:25 p.m. on Friday (June 29), according to Victor Jose Luciano, president of the state-run Clark International Airport Corp., which manages the DMIA.
Ewan ko lang ha? Pero at the rate the Koreans are coming, residing, buying all types of mountains and hills with lava inside, with some mastering the art of scam, they’re no longer foreign passenger. They’re now the new natives and aborigines of the Philippines. Don’t you think?
Makati City to test-run ‘e-jeepneys’
On Wednesday, officials of Makati City, along with business leaders and representatives from the environmental watchdog, Greenpeace, will conduct a test run of electric jeepneys in the heart of the urban center. If the test run proves successful, the 12-seater e-jeepneys, which can be powered by energy from the sun and organic wastes, would be extensively promoted in neighboring cities, officials said.
I’m really proud of Makati! As you all know, I’m a tree-hugger too. So, news like these fattens mah heart. Heck! We live on borrowed times and borrowed place, so if we don’t take care of our environment, what’s gonna be left with YOUR kids? (di ako pedeng manganak eh!)

hahahaha. oo nga mauubusan ng koryente sa kakahabol sa araw. OO din, patok na patok ang pawnshop (alahas, cellphone). Variations are patok din (lands, salaries, other properties including start up businesses ng OFWs, nyahehehe (mataas daw ang failure rate), buy it and turn it around. I for one bought 2 huge freezers for 10 K last month from an OFW. The 10K was recovered in 15 days! Yay…it was like the business was given away! Life span of the freezers is , I think 5 years pa, so 5 more years of profit yay…..
